You'll feel as lucky as we did if you're able to rent this fantastic slice of paradise. When Sue, the owner, lists her rental as "steps from the beach", she's not exaggerating. You can literally roll out of bed and walk 200 yards to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The cottage itself is has everything you'll need to power down and soak in the awe inspiring surroundings; washer/dryer, outdoor shower, private patio and garden, two bedrooms (one master...the other with 2 twin beds), Wifi, small t.v., access to beach chairs and towels, ample parking, etc. If you're not going to the beach, no problem....the center of Hanalei Town is literally a 5 minute walk. Travelers looking for a homey feel without pretense should go ahead and try to book before we do!

We came across this cottage in Hanalei after staying at a different location for a few years.We are now hooked.We've come back now for our third year in a row(booked again for fourth)Sue ,the owner is very accommodating,the cottage is always in great shape when we arrive,and it is very well appointed with new wireless internet... and all the other items one could possibly need.I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants just hang out and enjoy Kauai's north shore.Walking distance to Hanalei town 2 minutes, beach 30 seconds...
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.

My wife and I stayed at this beach house on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! The owner Sue was very accomodating and helpful in everyway and made our stay there that much more memorable. We recommend this clean accomodation whole heartedly for any couple or family. Short walking distance to town for shopping and dining and sightseeing. The beach has something for everyone from swimmers to surfers and beachcombers to sun bathers. We are looking forward to coming back to this piece of paradise as soon as possible.

I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone considering a stay in Hanalei. The location cannot be beat...the "Best Beach in America" is steps away and the walk into Hanalei is only a few blocks up the street. I stumbled upon this property while planning my trip to Kauai to be married and it will forever be near and dear to my heart as the property owner, Susan, was kind enough to let my now husband and I get married in her yard! And, as if that wasn't enough, my now step-son fell ill with an ear infection just days into our visit and Susan not only provided us with information on local doctors but also provided him with extra reading material throughout our stay. She is kind beyond words! I guarantee you will not be disappointed should you decide to stay here. The mountain views (complete with beautiful waterfalls) from the cottage living room are enough to make this place an excellent vacation rental option...but that with everything else this property offers makes it a great north shore choice! We haven't had the opportunity to stay in the cottage since, but we will definitely do so in the future!
