  The Mushroom is a hidden gem. A beautiful, isolated spot, right on the bay, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint cottage. The description online can't do justice to waking up with the ocean outside your door. Everything about our long weekend was just perfect. If you're looking for luxury accommodations this probably isn't your place but with two baths, a refreshing outdoor shower and plenty of lawn space, our party of 8 was crushed when we had to leave. I look forward to returning to this special spot.

  My family and I just wrapped-up a week’s stay. It was in every way delightful time, and this house contributed greatly to the success of our event. It’s a gorgeous setting with amazing beach access; and the layout provided a good balance of privacy and togetherness for our four families and three generations under one roof. It’s far better equipped than other rentals we’ve seen, and very comfortable and useable. The owners couldn't have been more helpful. Bristol itself is a lovely and interesting town, with (among other attractions) several excellent restaurants.

  Wonderful view and privacy with a relaxing atmosphere. We held a family reunion here and rarely even left the point. It provided a wonderful location to get the family back together for some great memories. Everyone in the family agreed that the weekend was a home run and we hope to return next year for an even longer stay.

  We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the "Mushroom". It was secluded and quiet with spectacular views of the bay. The house is a charming beach house with an old world feel. Although the town of Bristol is not far away, we never left the Point during our stay. It felt like a true get away. We walked on the beach, found shells and sea glass, watched the boats go by, and sat in front of the bay to see the beautiful sunsets. It was truly a special spot. My kids and whole family loved it! There is plenty of room for a large family or 2 families. We would like to return next year for a longer stay.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

  The view is beautiful and it's completelty private. Lovely!
