Dear Pam, We loved our vacation at the "Plum". The weather was great and your cottage by the ocean was comfortable and cozy. Our little Westie "Zoe" even thought it felt like home. I think we found a place to call home. We will definitely be back soon!

When we arrived on Plum Island the first week Of August 2011 we were immediately taken by the laid back lifestyle...The house was truly unique,artsy and clean and a perfect location to everything. The weather was wonderful and the beach was clean and not overcrowded.Pam, the owner was accomadating and nice which we appreciated.Our little Westie,Zoe has made this her new home.If you like a little nightlife Newburyport is 10 minutes away and always has events going on.The best of both worlds,relaxing and unwind at the beach during the day and Newburyport at night !! We will definetly be back again and again !!!!

According to my dad, "this was the best vacation in 60 years!". What a great way to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday. We enjoyed walks on the beach, wonderful dinners, sitting on the porch reading and playing games, and best of all sitting on the beach enjoying the beautiful weather with family & friends! Nice cottage, exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable. Ocean is just as majestic and captivating in the fall and winter as it is in the summer. Cottage is warm and cozy, even when the weather outside isn't!

Thanks, Pam, for providing such a cozy house. We had to admit we had doubts about renting this through a web site - however, no regrets. This is our second trip to this area. We went on a whale watching cruise for five hours on Sunday on the Prince of Whales - very educational - about eight sightings. Sun. & Mon. were the only sunny and somewhat warm (73) days. Monday morning we walked the beach for over two hours. Watching the sunrise over the ocean is an awesome experience. House location is fantastic. Hope we can come back when it is a bit warmer. Thank you.

Air temp - 62 high, overcast and hardly any sun. Walk to the beach so 4 & 6 year old boys can go swimming then come back to a warm house to dry off and get warm - perfect! Thank you!

Our week here with family & friends from New York, Bosto and even Plum Island (the daughter of old friends from our youth) was fabulous! The house is so comfortable and full of lovely nooks & crannies and objects d'arte and all the amenities needed for a cozy, relaxing and entertaining stay. It would be great to come back to! Due to the generosity and love of my wonderful friends Bob & Laura, I was able to find peace and solace for a few days. In memory of Bob & Chickie , who moved here in 1969 when the island wasn't as fancy, and left their home - down the road - to their daughter, it was poignant to come here. This house has wonderful things to enjoy, and it was a great joy to be communal again. I was last here over 30 years ago.

This is our second year here and it was wonderful yet again. Walks on the beach are amazing and watching the thunder and lightning from the sun porch was so fun! The people in the town are very nice so it is easy to feel at home. The house is perfect for vacationing with family. I hope we come back next year. We all look forward to it!

Our first family vacation was wonderful here on Plum Island. Although the baby was too little to really enjoy the beach, we were able to relax a bit and enjoy time with family and friends. We hope to return soon. The house is wonderful!

We had a wonderful month on Plum Island! Couldn't have asked for better weather! Living here was a great transition place out of Massachusetts. Wish I had discovered it sooner! Sadly good things must come to an end. Mad Martha's & Plum Island Grille served up delicious food. This location can't be beat.

We had such a great week here - with our 3 little ones. They want to live here forever! No rain - at the "big water" and "sandbox" everyday. The house is comfy + fun - the kids thought it was cool to sleep together on the upstairs porch.

So far we've had a great time this week. We went to Mad Martha's for breakfast and it was delicious. We had one rainy day, took advantage by going shopping in Newburyport during the day and we went to Hampton Beach that night to do more shopping. We had dinner at the Whale's Tale. the food was good and inexpensive. Our days at the beach have been wonderful. We also ordered lobsters and steamers from Bob's Lobster. We had them cook them and it was delicious!
