This upscale three story townhouse offers all the conveniences of being in Historic Downtown Durango. From the quiet area overlooking Santa Rita Park, you can access the Animas River trail and enjoy a nice walk along the river. This trail stretches for miles throughout Durango along the banks of the Animas River. Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory) is a short 25 minute scenic drive.
The first level offers a two car garage and utility room with a full size washer & dryer. The second level is the living area with kitchen, dining and living room. The living room has plenty of seating, a 47’ LCD flat screen TV with digital cable, DVR and DVD player. Complimentary 8.0 Mbps high-speed wireless internet access is also provided (150 times faster than 56k dialup). Telephone service is provided with free unlimited long distance.
The kitchen has lots of windows and is fully equipped with all utensils and dishes you would need to cook a full holiday meal. A pantry and half bath are also close by for your convenience. The upper level features two bedrooms and two baths.
The master bedroom is furnished with a queen bed (double pillow top mattress), dresser, night stands and a full length mirror. A 34" inch LCD TV with cable is wall mounted so you can watch it from bed, with ease. The master bedding is all new, which includes a 560 thread count sateen sheet set. The guest bedroom is great for kids, with two twins and a trundle for a total of three twins, along with a wall mounted 29" LCD TV with cable. There is also a full bath in the hallway. The unit also has a deck just off the living room with swivel rocker patio furniture.
The location of this townhome is ideal; you can walk downtown (approx. 8 blocks), take a bike ride or walk to Santa Rita Park and the Animas River Trail, both of which are located across the street. The activities you can enjoy are endless.
The townhouse also offers air conditioning to keep the summer months comfortable.

Downtown Durango Townhouse - Location, Location, Location!
Year Purchased: 2006
Durango Main City Park. Walk up access to the Animas River for fly fishing.
Durango's main bike and hike trail that runs along side of the river throughout town. Access to the trail is less than 100 yards from this townhouse.
Indoor lap pool, kid’s pool with large water slide. Full workout facility along with racquetball and basketball. Group fitness classes available.
Laugh all you want! But when you want that route 44 coke and nothing else will do - it is only a minute away.

As a Commercial Pilot, I have spent countless hours flying over of Southern Colorado, looking down and wishing I could spend more personal time in the mountains. From high above, I have always admired the beauty of Durango and the surrounding San Juan National Forest.
After numerous weekend excursions to Durango, I fell in love with the town, the train and its people. I purchased the townhouse is 2006 and have enjoyed every minute since.
I maintain the townhouse to a standard that is second to none. I regularly inspect and ensure that everything is spotless and all mechanical items are in good working order, just like you would expect.
Bike, hike, ski or just relax on Main Street - you will never want to leave.

The condo was super clean. It says its 8 blocks from down town and thats true. Its a good 8 blocks. Nice kitchen, but if you plan to cook be sure you bring all the spices and seasonings you will need. This condo supplies salt and pepper...nothing else. I have stayed in other home vacation rentals and that was not the case. top of the line appliances, nice furniture, the master had a very comfortable bed but the rest of the beds were twins. This is a great condo for a family with kids...There is cable tv in every room which I didnt expect and was a plus. Internet svc... For an older adult the stairs might be an issue. You should let people know about the stairs to get into the main part of the condo. Very convient location.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children.

We stayed as a family for several days of skiing in 2009. The townhome was clean and very comfortable. Lots of new furniture and amenities, loaded with electronics, and great location for sking and proximity to the town. We plan to stay again as soon as work schedules permit ... a definite thumbs up. I would highly recommend this townhome.

The perfect property for a great Durango experience! Absolutely perfect vacation getaway in the heart of Durango. This is an extremely clean and comfortable condo/townhome with great layout, views, deck and privacy. Also a 2-minute drive to town and to fabulous restaurrants. I highhly recommend this property for both winter and summer fun!

First this location is in Durango. One sweet town. Great dining, the people are very friendly, and the scenery is fantastic The Townhouse has a a two car (lengthwise garage) with plenty of ski gear space. The living room is like being at home. Super clean and nice. Very nice furniture, big HD TV with cable. (TV in every room) The kitchen and dining table are perfect for cooking in. The master had a super comfortable bed and the extra bedroom has two twins. Plenty of space. We really enjoyed our stay.
