For our annual Charleston summer vacation we decided to locate closer to IOP than Folly beach. This property was an excellent choice. Quiet neighborhood. Less than 2 miles to Sullivans Island and the BEST fish tacos at Poe's Tavern. A quick 7 minutes to IOP county park and a lifeguarded beach. Downtown Historic Charleston is only 15 minutes from the house. Patriots Point 5 miles down the road. A wonderful vacation for our family of 5. Thanks, Melissa.

Great Property that is Pet Friendly

We stayed in this property for 8 days in May of 2011. We were very pleased that it was pet friendly, we always travel with our dogs, and it made it great. The house was equipped with everything that we needed, and grocery stores and places to eat were close. We were also very close to the beach. I would very highly recommend this property for people who are vacationing with their dogs.

This home is a lite filled homey feeling place to stay. There couldn't have been a better place to celebrate Christmas with your family, except maybe your own home. Yes, its true! The owner has a real talent for decorating a house so it exudes warmth. Lots of information in the drawers on things to do & places to go, including menus to area restaurants. Nice quiet area, where you can enjoy evening walks. The owner is very accommodating yet not intrusive in the least. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others. Nice big yard which our american water spaniel loved. Thanks again Melissa from Roni & Wayne

A Great Place for Spoleto!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the house while we spent a week at the Spoleto Festival. It's a very small house, but was extremely spacious for two people. The neighborhood is quiet with very little traffic and so evening walks around the area were very enjoyable. It is an easy drive from the house, over the beautiful new Cooper River bridge, to get to the Charleston Visitor Center where you can park all day for free and take the old-fashioned shuttle buses anywhere you'd want to go in the historic parts of town. Mt. Pleasant has very good seafood restaurants and it's a quick drive to the beach from the rental house. When we visit Spoleto again we will definitely pick this rental.

We stayed here for six weeks while temporarily staying in SC and would recommend it to others. The rental is located in a great central location that is convienent to everything in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The owner responds quickly to any requests!

This was a terrific place for us to stay during our month of house hunting in the area. We enjoyed the neighborhood and proximity to downtown so much that we bought a home a few blocks away!! Thank you!

As a former resident, I really enjoyed staying in the quiet area of "old" Mount Pleasant. The neighborhood and location was great for walking our dog, walking to grocery stores and restaurants, easy access to the beaches, and bike riding. The house itself was perfect for us, and our pup enjoyed the large yard. Even with a tropical storm overhead, we had a nice visit in this cozy rental.
