Charming French Country style Carmel cottage located in the Golden Rectangle which means an easy walk to town, to the beach, and to favorite spots like Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch restaurant for dinner.
Enjoy quiet evenings by the quintessentially crooked Carmel stone fireplace while you relax in this designer built and decorated home. However if you need to work during your stay, we have high speed wireless internet, a fax machine, and a printer ready for your use. We also offer free long distance calls.
The large master suite has a wonderful Monterey Mattress King bed, fireplace, comfy window seat, and south facing deck where you can take a peek at Monastery Beach and enjoy the afternoon sun. Custom bedding and drapes, and Conran shades on the windows. And if you're tired after a day of shopping or golfing, there's a Sharper Image massage chair.
The master bath has double sinks, a shower and a separate spa tub and private WC. Large walk in closet.
For couples with a young baby, the master suite has a baby nook with a beautiful white and yellow crib, changing table, and dresser. The nook can be cleverly closed off by custom drapes once baby is asleep.
The downstairs bedroom has a twin, pine sleigh bed with a trundle that pulls out, and up, to comfortably sleep two. There are French doors which lead to a quiet Carmel stone patio and garden--another spot to catch the afternoon sun.
The fully equipped kitchen is so special that was featured in a Sunset book on kitchens in 1998. Sit at the counter with your morning coffee and check your email on a wireless high speed connection. Or catch the morning sun while sitting out in the front garden on the sea otter bench.
