You can't stay any closer to the Mountain! This is one of the very rare places in the world that you can walk to the ski slopes and ski almost to the front door on a snowy day! The condominium is nestled in the pine trees on the corner of Keller Road and Saddle Road. In the summer, you can hike the ski runs and trails from the house. The lake and casinos are one to two miles down the hill at the Nevada/California stateline - just a 5 minute drive. See nightly shows and concerts, enjoy the many beaches, golf, movie theatres, shopping, biking paths, and all the recreational attractions that make Lake Tahoe America's All Year Playground.
We are located right next to the Heavenly Valley California Main Lodge and Aerial Tram, and it is roughly 500 feet to the slopes. The face of the mountain can be seen from the two decks that face the slopes. The 500 foot walk takes you to the base of Heavenly's California Main Lodge and Aerial Tram where tickets may be purchased without having to wait in the long lines at the main gondola entrance.
The 2 story Condo itself has a comfortable cabin feel and is tastefully decorated. It has all the amenities of home and maybe even a little more. Lofty windows and an open beamed ceiling open up the sense of space in the upstairs living area which features a gas wood stove. Granite counter tops and new kitchen appliances add to the clean lines of this condo. The Condo has a partial view of the Heavenly Valley ski mountain and lifts. The community jacuzzi is just steps from the house. The entry has a ski and snowboard rack.
There are two bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, TV, VCR, and DVD. It has its own private deck for those mornings when you want to enjoy the views and your cup of coffee. The second bedroom also has a queen bed. The first bathroom adjoins the two rooms and is very convenient, especially in the middle of the night. All linens are provided.
As you go upstairs, there is another deck off the living room, and a spacious living room with a kitchen table that sits six. The upstairs has a pull-out queen sofa bed, TV, DVD, VCR, gas fireplace, deck, and small propane BBQ. There is a fully equipped kitchen and full bathroom upstairs as well as a washer and dryer for your convenience.
Just a few steps away is the hot tub, which is shared by all tenants. It is kept going all year long and is very convenient after a long day on the slopes.
If you like activities, this Condo is within minutes of many options. The Stateline Casinos are located two miles from the Condo. Harveys, Harrah's, MontBleu and Horizon casinos are just 5 minutes away! Being so close to the casinos makes it easy for you to miss the common congestion that occurs while traveling on the main strip, especially during the summer months. You can easily miss all that traffic by using Pioneer Trail which gives you direct access to the back of the casinos. There are many great restaurants right down the street on Ski Run Blvd.
This condominium is located near one of the most beautiful lakes in the world! The lake is one mile away where you can enjoy many activities such as boating, fishing, and swimming. The lake is surrounded by the magnificent Sierra Nevada mountains and borders both California and Nevada. Explore year round recreation. When the snow melts, enjoy the lake and land activities such as lake cruises, river rafting, 24 hour night life, hot air balloons, etc.
Please call for availability It is a good idea to book your stay well in advance since the cabin fills up quickly. If conditions are anything like last year, it is going to be an awesome season!

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed your place in Tahoe. The fresh powder was incredible! The location of your condo was ideal for us since our daughter was in ski school. The snow removal from the parking lot was prompt and thorough. We cooked in each evening, so the well-stocked kitchen was truly appreciated. We left a sled for you in the downstairs closet next to the one you had there. We would love to stay at your place during our next visit. Thanks again.

This condo is indeed in easy walking distance (with ski boots) from the Heavenly California ski base. Nothing fancy, but in good condition and an ideal place for people who come to Tahoe for skiing. A short drive from the shops and restaurants in the center of town. The gas-lit fireplace in the living room offers the best means for heating the upstairs living area. The shared hot tub is close by and works well.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway.
