This two-story house has a huge sunny deck with a gas barbecue grill and outdoor furniture. The bottom floor has a king-size bed, a daybed, TV with VCR and DVD player, a beautiful full bathroom, and walk-in closet. The wooden sliding door opens to a private patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee.
The upper floor boasts a second bedroom that's set up as a family room with a Cable Flat Screen TV and a daybed that sleeps two; a bathroom; a modern full kitchen and dining area; as well as a living room that opens up to the sunny deck. The loft is a third level with a view of the channel and Kiddy Beach. It has a bunkbed and Cable T.V. It's great for two older kids. You will feel right at home.
We also provide a double kayak, bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrella, coolers, surf boards, sand toys, and booguie boards for guests use.

Why the Owner Chose Oxnard
We chose Oxnard because we live in Thousand Oaks, which is 30 minutes from the beach house. We wanted to enjoy it all year long. We like the beach because Silver Strand is far from freeways and highways. It is a very peaceful place. The only noise you hear is the faint fog horne in the distance.

My husband, Peter Crommelin, grew up in Malibu and I grew up in the South Bay. We wanted to purchase our second home near the water. Peter loves to surf and I love to kayak. Silver Strand is the perfect beach to do both. On one side you have the big waves and on the other the channel. We also have an eight year old son and an eleven year old daughter who love the beach as well.
