'It's magical up here - truly magical!' 'WOW! This place takes my breath away!' 'I do believe we have been spoiled for life now with our experience with your place!' Located at 6000 foot level, our mountain home is located high in the Valley in Pine Mountain Club - a close destination with a far-away feel. And because there are no stop lights or street lights, no sirens, smog or traffic, you'll feel miles away from city life at our home. Pine Mountain Club has a true four-season mountain climate and is the perfect year-round destination for a getaway! (Check link for more photos of our home; additional photos are always available upon request.)
Located on a beautiful & very QUIET street (off the beaten path of main / busy streets like Woodland Dr), yet just a 2 minute drive to the Village / clubhouse, our home is two-story, has an lovely, open floor plan with knotty pine high-vaulted ceilings in the great room, dual-pained windows and Levolor Blinds, sleeps UP TO four (4) w/ two bedrooms (2 new queen beds, both with pillow-top mattress covers and heated mattress pads), a Graco Pack n' Play (bring sheets), two baths (one w/ a large two-seat walk-in shower). Our home is designed for one or two couples, but will also accommodate a small family. (Sorry, we cannot accommodate more than four (4) occupants at any time.) With a great southern exposure, our home is considered 'semi-solar'. Modern (built 12/2002), our home is beautifully decorated with mountain comforts (no 'hand-me-down' furniture here!), upscale amenities (we have an incredible 550+ movie collection & Wi-Fi, we offer popcorn, hot chocolate & herbal teas, plus much, much more), our home is exceptionally clean & comfortable (1150 square ft) with wonderful, unobstructed mountain views. Our deck, which we recently replaced, faces south and is great for stargazing; the sunsets / night-sky are spectacular from our deck and will put on quite a show! We back to the Los Padres National Forest - wildlife (deer, raccoon, bobcat, mountain lion, coyote(s), bear, fox, bunnies, squirrels, quail, dove, stellar & scrub jays) abounds. And when there's SNOW, the hillside behind our home is perfect for sledding! Mt. Pino's (8300'-8800') is just 15-20 minutes away, and as the locals know, is a GREAT cross-country skiing and snow-play destination!
We have a BOSE Stereo System (which offers EXCEPTIONAL sound) - so, bring your CD's! We have a new 40' HDTV flat screen cable TV in the great room & cable TV in each bedroom - we also have a Carbon Monoxide detector. There's a nice, new glass-top patio table w/four chairs on the deck, along with a relaxing hammock, two large market umbrella's and binoculars for your use and enjoyment. There's also a Weber grill & grill utensils; please bring charcoal & lighter fluid.
NOTE: Due to our elevation (6000 ft) on the Mountain, SNOW may be present during cooler months. Our roads are well-maintained, but area CHP require that you carry chains or have a 4x4 vehicle when snow is possible. Snow shovels are provided, if needed, for accessing our driveway. Please check the 'Total Escape' link below, then the 'Property Association' link for detailed PMC weather information.
If a close, relaxing, year-round getaway is what you seek, and you appreciate a clean, classy, upscale home, we welcome you. Attention has been paid to EVERY detail in our home, and we offer amenities not typical of most vacation rentals here on the Mountain. Check our guest comments and see why they return again and again.
Rental includes up to four (4) guest passes to club facilities; 3 phones (with answering machine) are available for local calls; please bring a calling card for long distance calls. Note: Cell service is currently NOT available in Pine Mountain Club. (Cell service will be coming soon!)

We supply Duraflame logs (no need to bring firewood), and ALL utilities/taxes are included in rental rates. Luxury linens (800 ct sheets for the two queen beds, & plush, soft white cotton towels for up to 4) and/or cleaning service are available for an additional fee. Inquire by email for rates.

We're 35 minutes from Pyramid Lake (a great boating / jet-skiing destination), 45 minutes from Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia. Pine Mountain Club offers many seasonal 'Mountain' events including: live summer Theatre productions, as well as the 'Concerts on the Green' series (we love these!). There's also a Lilac Festival in May, the 'favorite' Wine in the Pines early June, the really cool Antique Car Show in August, Oktoberfest, which is held each Labor Day weekend, the fun and safe Halloween alternative 'Trunk or Treat' hosted by Village merchants and locals, as well as other events throughout the year. The beautiful Alpine Village has many restaurants, a coffee / Internet shop, a pub, gift / clothing shops, a general store /market and laundromat. A new ice cream shop has opened -- enjoy a cone as you stroll the Village! The clubhouse offers a nice Bistro, as well as golfing, tennis, pool (seasonal) etc....moreless

Perfect, peaceful, beautiful
We had a wonderful time up here in PMC! We hiked every morning and had a cozy, comfy cabin to come back to every evening. The kids loved feeding the blue jays - they were great entertainment. It even snowed for us! A perfect, peaceful, beautiful few days. I can't wait to come back! :)

We truly enjoyed your place!
We truly enjoyed your place! Boris had fun hanging out downstairs and watching VCRs and my husband and I enjoyed just relaxing on the deck. I like that you are up above much of what passes for bustle - I would assume it is one of the quieter areas during high season (event weekends?). We look forward to coming back. PS. I tried to get Joey to take a peanut but he was shy with me and the stellar jays were pretty aggressive and grabbed all the other ones. Joey doesn't look underfed so I guess he is fine.

Wonderful lodging to truly enjoy the mountains
Wonderful lodging to truly enjoy the mountains
This unit was even better than expected. Pine Mtn Club is a charming mountain community and this is a wonderful place to stay to really enjoy it, from the first moment we got out of the car breathing clean mountain air until leaving the scenic deck with mountain views for the last time. Our only regret is that we stayed just 2 nights since we didn't get to try all the restaurants in the PMC village. It was a great place to stay with our Pasadena son and daughter-in-love during our visit from TN. Everything is updated, clean, and comfortable. There couldn't possibly be a movie you'd want to see that they don't have on either DVD or VHS. We enjoyed all the area hikes, including just exploring the quaint neighborhood on foot. The excellent communications and responsiveness of the owner is over the top, including immediate return of deposit checks. The bottle of wine, fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms went a long way to making us feel welcome. Be sure to remember your sheets and towels if you opt out of the linen service since the alternatives are limited in PMC if you forget. We hope to return during a future visit.

A perfect retreat for ccouples!
A perfect retreat for ccouples!
My husband and I stayed here in December and loved it so much that we immediately reserved our next stay. The cabin is perfect! The owners are easy to work with and provide amenities that most vacation rentals don’t offer, simple things like paper products, foil, baggies, hand soap to name a few. They even supply peanuts for the blue jays! The neighborhood is quiet, which adds to the whole experience. We saw many deer, bunnies and quail from the deck as well as a variety of birds, and spent each night watching the sun set and looking up at the stars. Incredible! We’re looking forward to our next stay!!

We stayed the weekend at this lovely mountain cabin. We found everything we needed and more. Lovely upscale and homey accommodations. They owners are thoughtful and helpful and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The cabin is well stocked, all we brought was food. They provided a binder of info and tips for enjoying our stay. We fished the lake, hiked the Waterfall and Enchanted Forest hikes, walked the town and enjoyed a summer concert on the green on Saturday evening followed by a second band inside the club house. Pine Mountain Club is an undiscovered gem. We had the lake and hiking trails to ourselves. We saw deer, quail and blue jays in the yard and relaxed on the porch at night under a beautiful clear starry sky. Couldn't have asked for more. We will be back to see the snow.

PERFECT MOUNTAIN RENTAL!!!!
We have been to PMC many times, and this truly is the nicest rental available on the mountain! Everything you could possibly want is there for you. The property is charming, comfortable and very clean. The owners couldn't be more accommodating. We love the golf course and the Pizza place in the village. The club house is a nice place to go for an evening out.

About the owner: As a general contractor with an eye for design and a human resources director who enjoys cooking, interior decorating, photography, hiking and crocheting, we reside in Ventura. Our mountain home is very special to us and we escape to it often and find the location ideal (just an hour and a half away). Attention to detail is number one with us and we pride ourselves in offering a very clean, upscale, peaceful, Zen-like option for your mountain getaway.
Why the Owner Chose Pine Mountain Club:
We truly love the Mountains! After considering Mammoth Lakes, Big Bear, along with other mountain areas, we found our home in Pine Mountain Club. It's so close -- we absolutely love it! Built in December 2002, our home faces south and is considered 'semi-solar' - a hidden jewel with its' unobstructed mountain views -- the sunsets from our deck are truly amazing; the night sky will put on quite a show! We offer upscale amenities, including Wi-Fi, phones and cable/TV in each room, a Carbon Monoxide detector, along with lots of extras! Leave your cares at the door and enjoy the upscale comforts our mountain home provides.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Our home is located on a VERY quiet street with quiet neighbors, and we love its location high on the Mountain. The quaint Village offers many dining options, as well as shopping, and has a 'long-ago' feel. Safe, friendly and peaceful! The golf course is beautiful year-round, and the community pool (seasonal) - refreshing! And, as avid hikers and mountain bikers, we enjoy the many local trails. Back at our mountain home, we enjoy hand-feeding the jays (peanuts provided!); the night sky is always welcoming, giving us time to relax, breathe, and reflect. And our very favorite ... watching the sunsets. They truly are amazing!! You won't believe a place like this exists so close! This truly is the perfect couple's getaway or a quiet retreat!
