Perfect for Large Family Reunion or Corporate Retreat. On this 6 acre wooded property sits a beautiful 1836 sq. ft. 4 bedroom house with a separate studio and cabin for additional sleeping. And just next door you'll find a 900 sq. ft. A-Frame home. All just 3/4 of a mile down the road from Lake Ouachita and the Twin Creek Recreation Area. (where you'll find a boat launch/beach/fishing/camping and more) The property is 30 minutes outside of Hot Springs traveling west on Rt. 270 near Mt. Ida.
Property rental is flexible, rent only what unit(s) you need, call for details!
The Main House has 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths Sleeps up to 14
The Studio is next to house with two full size beds, sleeps up to 4
The Cabin is next to Studio has queen bed/bath/kitchenette. Sleeps 2
The A-Frame is next door and sleeps up to 8
Main house has beautiful wood floors, Cathedral Ceiling, Central Heat/Air, ceiling fans and fireplace and is beautifully decorated and spacious for large groups. Kitchen is equipped with all appliances including dishwasher and is part of an open floor plan. Living room has cathedral ceiling, Cable TV/DVD/VCR, and a futon and queen size sleeper sofa for additional sleeping in front of the fireplace.
Master Bedroom has queen size bed, separate bathroom and french doors leading to a private deck with a view of the back yard and crystal fountain, 2nd Bedroom has full size bed, 3rd Bedroom has bunk bed with twin top bunk and double bottom bunk and another twin bed to sleep up to 4 kids, 4th Bedroom has queen size bed. Laundry Room has washer/dryer for added convenience.
The Cabin offers a romantic smaller space "just for two" with queen size bed, bathroom with clawfoot tub, and equipt kitchenette. It is available as an addition to the main house rental or as a separate rental. Discounts available on the cabin if renting in conjunction with the main house.
A studio located in between the Cabin and Main House is available as an extra sleeping area when renting in addition to the Cabin and/or Main House. It has two full size beds in the back room and a futon and foosball table in the front room.
The A-Frame House is right next door with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bath. It will accomodate up to 8. A-Frame can be rented as a separate unit.
A beautiful back yard overlooks 6 acres of Dogwood and other hardwood trees, has a gazebo, crystal water fountain and much more! Large horseshoe driveway for easy access in and out of property for those with boats! Sorry - NO 4-wheeling allowed on property.

Security Deposit of $250 for each house reserved; Refundable after Inspection.

Year Purchased: 2006
Connie moved from Kent, Ohio to Hot Springs, Arkansas in May 2004 to be with her eHarmony "match" and soon to be husband, Marc Rubben. She has 3 children (ages 16, 20,22) who live in Ohio. She purchased her first vacation rental in August 2004, mainly to house the extra furniture from the two households now combined. It would also be a great place for family and friends to stay when visiting. Connie takes care of all aspects of the vacation rental business. She is a perfectionist, "clean freak" and a people pleaser! She takes great pride in providing this beautiful, clean and affordable vacation spot to others. Marc is a professional Comedian/Ventriloquist. You may have seen him over the past 20+ years at various comedy clubs across the country or in exclusive resorts around the globe. More recently he can be found aboard the "Conquest", a Carnival cruise ship. Marc was showcased on "Accidentially Famous" a reality show aired on Comcast OnDemand in May, 2007. If you haven't seen Marc perform "live", be sure to check out his DVD, which is in the video library on-site. You may also see him on national TV in the near future! Marc has 2 kids (ages 16,18) Connie and Marc live in an underground house on the Ouachita River with their 8 dogs and 1 cat. They also foster dogs for the Warm Hearts Humane Society. At one time they may have as many as 17 dogs in their care. (Now you know why they own property that is "Dog Friendly"

Nestled in the Ouachita National Forest, this beautiful 6 acre wooded property is less than a mile from the 2nd cleanest lake in the country! The air quality out here in the country is pristine! It's just 30 minutes outside of Hot Springs, and 20 minutes from our own home. A PERFECT location in every regard.

The cabin is neat as a pin! THe walk to and from the lake is great. Drivers are kind to walkers. Quiet and relaxing is the theme! Put your dog on a leash when taking them out around the cabin at night, as there are lots of "critters" roaming around that invite chasing. :)

This house is so cute! Every room has a bit of it's own style everywhere. The games made our visit more fun, the moives gave us a chance to wind down and the bath tub was so relaxing. Than you so much for allowing us to stay in the A-frame.
