The Kemp Ridley turtles visit the Padre Island National Seashores to lay their eggs from April to July every year. A couple hundred Ridley turtle nests were found last year and brought to the National Seashore for hatching and release into the ocean.
We've made our vacation home available for your use so you may enjoy the beauty and tranquility of North Padre Island. This 2200 square foot home has been completely remodeled and redecorated in a spanish hacienda style with saltillo tile throughout the house. All rooms in the house have breath taking views of the water.
Our home has 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms - two master bedrooms with queen beds and one bedroom with a full bed. A queen inflatable bed is available for kids or other guests. We will provide all the bed linens and towels for you. A full office area with wireless networking, printer and fax is also available for those of you who just can't get away from the office - bring your laptops and you won't miss a beat.
The great room and expansive deck are the center of all activity - fireplace, cable TV, entertainment center, movies, and games are perfect for the family and entertaining guests. Bring your boat for a fishing getaway to the IntraCoastal waterway or the Gulf of Mexico. The pristine beaches of the Padre Island National Seashore are less than 5 minutes from the house.
For those of you who love to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities and lovely place settings to serve a gourmet meal. You can always eat outdoors on the deck while "bar-b-queing" your catch of the day. We've installed brand new appliances - a 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer to help you spend less time indoors and more time enjoying your stay on the Island with all the comforts of home.

Through the years we have rented various VRBO rentals in the Corpus Christi and Port Aransas areas. The Sur's home is one of the nicest. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was very clean, well organized and comfortable. You could prepare a gourmet meal in the kitchen or barbecue on the deck. The views from all the rooms were fantastic. We especially loved watching the sunrise and sunsets on the deck. It was comveniently located to the beaches, Corpus Christi and Port Aransas. We recommend it very highly to anyone wanting a beautiful home to relax in while vacationing at Padre Island.

We enjoyed every minute of our 3 Month stay at the Sur's home. This vacation home is truly amazing. The Sur's were always there if anything came up and were wonderful to rent from. This house will always be my families first choice for any stay in the Corpus Christi Area. Amazing Views, we even got to enjoy dolphins from the deck a few evenings. The kids loved the back deck for fishing or swimming and the boat lift gave us easy access to anywhere we wanted to cruise. The home is fully stocked for entertaining and fun. Enjoy your stay here at this home and Padre Island. We will be back.

My family loved our Padre Island vacation! We were delighted to see a clean well appointed home with all the amenities of a first class resort. We loved the beaches and the close proximity to the location. There are lots of activities to do on and around the Island. We spent a month at the Sur’s beautiful home and all we can say is ditto to all the positive comments already posted. It is indeed a lovely, immaculate, well-furnished home with all the amenities. It was so comfortable that my husband and I often found we enjoyed staying at the house rather than being out sightseeing. And I believe Mr. Sur even arranged for perfect weather while we there!! We so enjoyed our stay at the Sur's lovely home on Padre Island. Various family members came from around all across the US to meet and spend Christmas together there. The home has any and everything anyone could want. We too, enjoyed fishing off the dock, or watching those who fished!!! I would recommend this VRBO rental to anyone who is looking for a place to unwind and enjoy the Texas Riveria!!

What a beautiful home and a great location. It was wonderful to swim or fish right off the back deck. We encountered one hicup but overall enjoyed our stay. Mr Sur & his handy man were very pleasant to deal with!!

As others' observed - more a home than a rental beach house. Fantastic home with tons of amenities, big screen TV, a well stocked kitchen and a great sun deck (don't kid yourself - it's 600+ sq ft!). Close to beaches - Mustang Is, Padre (5-10 min drive), and close proximity to much more. Top notch and neighbors are friendly. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Sur's vacation home for several months, and it was a pleasure to rent from, and get to know Arnab and Lorena. They take great pride in their Padre home and for good reason. If you are looking for a week or several months to relax and enjoy every minute of your vacation, this is the place to do it. Their home is immaculate, beautiful, and offers everything you would want and more. The Sur's make sure that you have everything you need.

This isn't just a nice house, it's a home, with warmth and comfort. Beyond the natural beauty, there's a peace present that makes the home very relaxing. I kept my fishing boat in the dry dock; in 3 minutes I was in the intercoastal waterway zipping to my favorite fishing spot near Marker 67. The neighbors are nice, and the neighborhood is mature and respectful. Arnab and Lorena Sur know what it takes to make their guests feel at home, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, relaxing time on the Texas Gulf coast. We spent several weeks at Lorena and Arnab's gorgeous house on Padre Island during Spring Break / Easter Holidays. The weather was great, the beaches were fantastic and the fishing was awesome. The whole family had a blast. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality. Your place had all the comforts of home. We'll be back!!
