Our 10th floor, gulf-front condominium – with beautiful water views from every window - is situated on a white sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico. The waves are gentle, and the gulf-floor slopes gently to an offshore sand bar which provides seven miles of protected beaches. Because of this, Fort Myers Beach is often called 'The World's Safest Beach'. Our children have spent countless hours sitting on the sandbar during low tide digging for sand dollars. We frequently spot dolphins playing in the waters in front of our balcony.
We have views of the Gulf of Mexico from every window. The spacious bedroom, which is separated from the living area by a folding partition, has a king-size bed. The living room has a sleep sofa (queen-bed size), TV, and DVD/CD player. The full kitchen is well equipped and stocked. We have a new glass-top range and hood, new microwave, new counters, and all new dishes and glasses. The spectacular view from our balcony faces the Gulf of Mexico and Sanibel Island, and because it faces west, it’s the perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun set.
There’s an on-site heated swimming pool; four Har-Tru clay tennis courts; and a shared laundry room. There are several marinas in Fort Myers Beach, including one directly behind the Estero Beach and Tennis Club. There is a wide variety of restaurants and shops in Fort Myers Beach, which are easily accessible by public trolley, which runs the length of the seven-mile long island.
The Estero Beach and Tennis Club is situated on ten lush acres along the Gulf of Mexico. The estuary in front of our balcony is listed in the top 200 bird-watching spots in the United States and is the only estuary in the US with a flock of Roseate Spoonbills arriving daily at dawn and dusk.
We are conveniently located approximately 30 minutes from Regional Southwest Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers. In addition to enjoying all that Fort Myers Beach has to offer, you are within 30-40 minutes of beautiful Naples and Sanibel/Captiva Islands. You will never run out of things to do in Fort Myers Beach!

Enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida where you can swim with dolphins and manatees or search for shells and sand dollars. Charter boats, jet ski’s and parasailing rentals are within walking distance. Enjoy a day or night out on the Casino boat or take the Key West Ferry for a day adventure to Key West. Catch some of the local artists at one of the many beach bars, enjoy great restaurants and fantastic shopping. Looking for something to do after the beach? There are numerous golf courses, mini golf, frisbee golf, libraries, a movie theater, water park, and much, much more. Further out you can enjoy museums, the Shell Factory, the Imaginarium, Calusa Nature Center, Naples Zoo, or an Everglades Airboat or Swamp Buggy adventure.

Just got back to Michigan and thought I would let you know that we really enjoyed our trip!! Your condo was EXCELLENT. Very clean and nice!! We really liked it. Coldwell also did a great job when we arrived and picked up the keys. We are planning a return trip sometime and April and I will contact you to see if your unit will be available. The view and location is beautiful; however, the condo needs some "TLC". The refrigerator door has rust spots and during our stay the fan motor was broken which woke us up at night due to the noise. We reported the issue on Monday, and the management company never followed up with us. After three separate calls and two visits, we were told that the fan motor was broken and it could not be fixed until they spoke with the owner. We never received another update or offer for an alternative solution. The bed linens were not first quality and were made for a small mattress and not the deep mattress on the bed. The bath and beach towels need replacement and the bath rug needs to be washed. The kitchen floor was sticky when we arrived and we washed it so our feet would not stick to the floor. The kitchen is sparsely appointed and there is no dishwasher. The management company had a rule book in the condo and the owner had a separate book of rules and travel tips. The Inventory List of EVERY item in the condo, including the number of forks and spoons, seemed excessive to us, especially with the warning that if anything was missing or broken that the tenant would be responsible. It was suggested that you take your own inventory of the condo contents to be sure everything was there so that you would not be held responsible on your departure...really? The irony is that most the items in the condo could be replaced at a Target or Walmart with minimum cost. We have stayed in several VRBOs, and this was our first negative VRBO experience.Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are both sorry and quite surprised that you experienced so many frustrations. In the 30+ years that we have owned and rented our condo yours is the first and only complaint we have received. We have already replaced the refrigerator in advance of our full kitchen and bath renovation which will happen towards the end of summer. Carole

This was our first time renting a condo for our vacation and we were very satisfied with the experience! We would definitely do it here again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Also want to tell you how nice the countertops look. Your place is neat and tidy and we love the fact that it is so great... Also, whoever the cleaning lady was,,, she did a terrific job. The place was spotless.... Thanks again for a wonderful 2 weeks and again, look forward to 3 weeks next year...
