There are not many places like this anymore! When I was a child, my parents used to take us to the beach every summer. You could spend the day at the beach picking up shells and filling up a bucket or two. You could build a sand castle and it would still be there the next day. You could build a fire on the beach and roast marshmallows. I thought I would never be able to share that kind of beach vacation with my children, that is until we discovered Cape San Blas.
The Cape is a 20 mile strip of land that curves out into the Gulf of Mexico. The tip of the Cape is home to St. Joseph Peninsula State Park; rated America's #1 beach by Dr. Beach. There is almost no commercial development. There are no high-rise buildings.
Our beach home is part of a quadruplex and is named Aqua Blast. We are located on the bottom floor with breathtaking, unobstructed views from every window. With a spacious 1300 square feet of living space, it is perfect for a beach getaway!
The large covered deck (50 feet from the edge of the water) overlooks the pristine, white sandy beach. You can even watch the dolphins playing in the morning while you enjoy your coffee.
The kitchen has a tile floor, new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and Corian countertops, including the bar area that accomodates seating for four people. The adjoining dining area has an antique art deco table that seats six people. For chilly nights, there is even a fireplace.
There is carpet throughout with tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. The cabinets and countertops in the bathrooms have been updated.
The master bedroom has a king size bed , cable TV and a private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with cable TV with DVD. The third bedroom has bunk beds and a cable TV with DVD. There are two double size futons in the living room that my teenage son likes better than his bed.
The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer and is on the parking level along with a hot and cold shower. We have also provided beach chairs for your enjoyment.
We also provide WIFI so you can bring your laptop.
The sunsets here are like no other. I don't think a photograph can ever capture their true beauty. At Aqua Blast, you will have a front row seat. Escape to the Cape before the developers find the Forgotten Coast!!

We loved our stay at Aqua Blast. Aqua Blast's location on the Cape is perfect! It is off the busy road, so the only thing we could hear was the rolling surf. We could take long beach walks in both directions to gather shells. Don and Edye were great before, during, and after our stay, and their beach house is EXTREMELY comfortable. We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. There was even a crock pot for easy family dinners! The fireplace was an added bonus and the views from the windows and deck were amazing. It is true that you can see schools of dolphins swimming by and the most spectacular evening sunsets. And after the sun sets, the sky fills with more stars than we have ever seen anywhere else. Fun-filled days on the beach, beautiful evenings, a bonfire under the stars, and a very comfortable bed. Who could ask for more?

We had a wonderful time at Aqua Blast. The view is spectacular. The beach is so close. It is only a few steps to the water. You could not ask for a better place. The beach house was awesome. All the neccesities of home. It was very comfortable and restful. We had a great time snorkeling in the bay and the shops in Apalachacola were great. We could not resist picking up a couple of reminders of our trip. The convenience store down the street was great. It make it very easy to go there for last minute items and they were acceptionally reasonably priced considering drive back into Port St. Joe. The amenities were the best. You did a wonderful job decorating. It really added to the atmosphere. All in all an awesome experience. We can't wait to come back.

There is noting more precious than time spend with children. God has blessed me with 3 granddaughters and a grandson on the way. Thank you for sharing your beach home so that my family could see all that they have. My 8 year old granddaughter stated (about the ocean) and it just keeps on moving. These are the wonders of life. Thank you again.

Thank you for your wonderful place. We were able to call it home for a week. Beautiful sunsets, comfy futons, awesome bath towel sets, views from each room, spacious master bedroom and spacious family and dining room.
