Enjoy your family vacation this summer in our side by side duplex, located on the quiet south end of Long Beach Island. We are located just houses from the beach and the bay with a 360 degree panoramic view from the oversized rooftop deck. (NOT available to groups for graduation weekends).
Since this area of Long Beach Island is only one block wide, there is very little street traffic which offers security and serenity to enhance your relaxation.
This smoke-free beach house has plenty of closets on the first floor to store all your beach gear. Right outside the first level door is a BBQ grill and an extra large outside shower with both hot and cold running water.
The second floor has two full bathrooms and three bedrooms. One bedroom has two twin beds, one has a queen size bed. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with a stall shower. The master bedroom offers a queen sized bed with an attached bathroom complete with a full size tub with shower. The new washer and dryer are located on this middle level.
The third floor is very open and spacious with a complete kitchen offering new appliances, microwave, coffee-maker, ice-maker, blender/mixer, cooking utensils, as well as ample new dishes and glasses. The new kitchen table is large enough for dining or family time playing games. There is also counter seating for a quick breakfast or snack. Another deck is off the dining area with a table and chairs for outside enjoyment. The living room, with vaulted ceilings, is equipped with cable TV, DVD, VCR and CD player. There is a half bath on this top floor.
The beach is cleaned and groomed on a daily basis and has been on the list of America's 20 best beaches numerous times by author Dr. Beach.
A playground and tennis courts are just one block south and overlooks the bay. At the very southern end of the island is Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Preserve. This federally-funded and maintained area has uninhibited views of the ocean, the natural beach, and the Atlantic City skyline.
Party boats are also close by for those who enjoy deep-sea fishing. There are plenty of restaurants and retail shops all over the island! Fantasy Island, an arcade and amusement park, is located two and a half miles north in Beach Haven; there is also a magnificent water slide and miniature golf course there! A public golf course is about 15 miles away on the mainland.
