Very nice cabin, relatively clean. You don't have to bring anything - even towels are there, baby crib and swing was available. Could use more strict cleaning from dust and wash all the covers and area rugs more often. The area is isolated, 25 minutes by car to the nearest supermarket so don't forget anything while shopping. Unfortunately no lake acces without driving. WE had to pack everyday into the car and drive to nearby marina 5 minutes away(nice friendly place), where we could use their WiFi , rent a motor boats, swim, ... This are would be ideal for a family with bigger children as there is no backyard to run and play, ideal for someone who wants peace and quiet and read lots of books... Overall we had lots of fun but felt isolated.

Great house. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room for everyone and lots of amenties. Great view of lake. Not a super fan of the driveway.....but what driveway in the mountains isn't steep. Will visit again.!!!!!!!!! Good house for multi families as there are 3 baths - one on each floor. Furnishings are amazing. The beds look handmade.

Awesome week at Lake Nantahala

We had a wonderful week at Lake Natahala - the cabin had absolutely everything we needed and more! It's decorated beautifully and very spacious. The game room was great for the kids - they loved the air hockey and pool table and there are tons of DVDs. The cabin offers easy accesibility to the lake as well as privacy. If you bring a boat, you'll have to rent a slip at the marina (driveway to cabin is very steep). We grilled out at the cabin a few nights and went to restaurants in Andrews (apprx. 20 minute drive) and Franklin (30 min). We went horseback riding in Andrews (Lonesome Dove Stables) which was a lot of fun for the whole family. It was a great week and I would recommend staying at this property.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, pet owners, families with young children, families with teenagers.
