About the owner: Our family is coming from Austria. We came to live in Spain 11 years ago. Our son Eric was educated in the international colleges of Almunecar and Marbella. Michael is journalist and writer, Eva a pianist.
We built the villa 5 years ago. As we are now living between Austria and Spain, we are partly renting out the villa. We all love the mild climate, the nice landscape and fantastic views from this villa and made a lot of friends in the charming village of Salobrena and in nearby Granada ( it can be reached in 1/2 hours drive on the new motorway) which I consider one of the most interesting towns of Spain.
Why the Owner Chose Costa Tropical and Granada Province: The area is one of the last unspoiled sites on the Spanish coast. The white village of Salobrena is crowned by an old Moorish castle. From the Monte de los Almendros where the villa is situated you have a spectacular view to the castle and sea, taking advantage of the quietness of the surrounding area. The climate is the most privileged of whole Spain, the coast is called "Costa Tropical" because of its tropical vegetation.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa: As our property is big enough to have sufficient privacy while being at home and in the garden area. We have two private pools ( one big round one with an built island in the middle where you can relax or enjoy your meals), the other rectangular one is covered and can be heated in wintertime, while used in summer as well as second pool, leaving all doors open. The villa itself has got a huge living room to relax, eat and dine, watch TV or try the pool table. The bedrooms are comfortable. From almost every room you can enjoy the wonderful view.
As the villa was made for our proper use it is more comfortable than rental houses normally are. It is fully equipped with marble floors.
