Thank you so much for the use of your cabin! It was wonderful! We enjoyed our time together as a family, with a son coming from Milwaukee, one from Kansas, one near us in St. Louis and our daughter and her family from Castle Rock. Your house is beautiful, the Grand Lake area was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our week together. Thanks for allowing us to use the Moose Hus! We did see our share of moose!

We spent a recent weekend at the Moos Hoos. The home is absolutely wonderful and in such a great location; close to Rocky Mountain National Park, the town of Grand Lake and all the wonderful activities the area has to offer. The views from the home are gorgeous, and several moose (mamas and babies) were in the neighborhood. The house is decorated beautifully and is so welcoming. The kitchen is so well stocked - every kitchen gadget and all the condoments needed for our time away. It's a great place for relaxing between activities. We recommend the tubing at the Fraser Historic Tubing Hill and the snowmobiling at On The Trail Snowmobiles.

It was my 50th birthday, and I could not have asked for a better way to spend it with my 4 adult children, their spouses, and my grandchildren. The accomodations were perfect for our family. With snowshoes and alot of determination, our gang managed to carve out the most amazing sledding hill right outside the home. Other than renting snowmobils for one morning at a place just up the road from the home, we never left the home. I even found time to bake cookies with the grandkids while waiting my turn to go use the sledding hill.What a great environment to bring our family together. Thank you Julie, for accomodating us so well. We loved our family time so much we may make this a family tradition.

It doesn't get any better than this. This VRBO is everything it claims to be, and more. Everything you need is here and the cabin is super clean and well maintained. The owners are wonderful to work with. This was our second time staying here, we will be back.

We had an outstanding vacation and I would highly recommend the Moose Hus to anyone that wants a place that feels just like home. The owner was excellent to deal with and made us feel like we were family. The house is very well maintained and family oriented. The kitchen is great and is very well stocked with every thing you need and more. It is in a great location and very easy to find. There were moose everywhere in fact one evening a cow and calf were eating wild flowers less than 20ft from the deck. We will stay there again!!!

This house was just right for our family of 12 (9 adults, 3 children-12,9, and 3). Great living/dining space for everyone to relax and do their thing. The kids used the loft for reading and playing. The bedrooms are all good size. We never felt cramped. The kitchen is well equipped. The cabin is beautifully located in natural pine setting. Lots of great hiking trails. The unpaved streets in the Columbina Lake neighborhood are wonderful for early morning and late evening walks and jogs. The owners are very congenial and easy to work with.

We had a great time at Moose Hus! The snow was beautiful. The house was very well stocked and met our needs perfectly! We enjoyed snowmobiling, tubing and playing cards. Grand Lake is a great getaway town for those who like a laid back vacation.

What a beautiful piece of paradise! My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend away at the Moose Hus. The fall colors and local scenery were fabulous! We enjoyed canoeing on Grand Lake and a hike to nearby Adams Falls. The cabin was so nice and homey and very well stocked. We had everything we needed for a wonderful time together. I can't wait to go back!

08/1/08 Three families used Moose Hus during a five day family reunion. There were five adults and five children. The cabin was perfect for their needs, and a good time was had by all.

This home was perfect for our group of six adults and three children--everyone had their own private space, and the common area was spacious and comfortable for all to gather together. The table accommodated us all for both eating and games in the evening. Besides hiking and fishing we delighted in seeing MOOSE. I didn't know Colorado had any! Grand Lake and RMNP are a beautiful area in spite of all the beetle killed trees. Stay in this home and enjoy it yourselves!

We, a party of 10 rented this great mountain home over New Year's weekend, 2007. We had plenty of room for all of us we weren't crouded at all. The kitchen was well stocked with everything. There was plenty of parking including the 2 car garage. Grand Lake does a fireworks show at midnight on New Year's Eve and it was spectacular! We can't wait to rent again in the summer time.

A wonderfull place to stay.The house is very very nice, and Julie was great to rent from. Friendly neighbors and a squirrel that thinks he owns the place. I do think he took over the fort. We had deer walk through and seen some big moose. Just a total wonderfull time.

We stayed at this beautiful home for several days with our friends over the Labor Day Holiday. We had a great time, and loved seeing all the wildlife in the area. Sitting out on the deck was so peaceful!!! Love the place.

We had a wonderful stay at Moose Hus!! The house was very spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family to relax and feel at home! The kitchen was well equipped and the garage with a washer/dryer was an added bonus. Julie (the owner) was so gracious to work with in securing our reservation that we plan to stay again sometime!

Our experience was wonderful! The house was in a great location. We were only minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park, where we saw moose on 2 seperate occations, and we were only 30 minutes from a ski slope. However, we still had a lot of privacy in a quiet neighborhood and a lot of room for 9 adults.

The Moose Hus was great for our families to get together under one roof. The four bedrooms let each family have their own area, and the living area was large enough for all of us to relax and play games. The garage was a great area to get our of snow gear from playing outside. The owners were great to work with and helped with suggestions of attractions in the area.

We rented this wonderful mountain home for a family reunion/snowmobiling trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room and the home was just as described. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities. It's location is very convenient for any activities in the area. Not too far from the main road, but far enough to be secluded. The owners are great to work with and very accessible if needed. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a great vacation. We are looking forward to staying here again and again.
