My wife and I have been vacationing in the Ft. Walton Beach-Destin area for the past 25 years and this may have been our favorite place to stay. This condo was perfect for us, my son, and his family. Second floor location was close to the exercise room, stairs, elevator. We had an excellent view of the pool and Gulf of Mexico. I was surprised by the amount of space there was for four adults and a child. The walk-in closet was as big as a small bedroom. This was living in luxury for a week. My only complaint is that I better book early if I want to stay here again.

Very extreamly nice condo!!! Very well cared for and everything was in perfect working order. It has everything that you would need from home. Great view of pool and the gulf. Nothing like sitting on the balcony in the morning having breakfast and coffee watching the dolphins going up and down the coast line!!!!! The owners Achilles and Georgia were extreamly helpful from inquiring aboth the condo all the way thru the booking process. Everything went extreamly smooth. I really don't think you can work with any nicer owners than these 2. They make sure everything is ready to go so you can have an enjoyable vacation. I would and do highly recommend this condo to anybody who wants an extreamly nice place to stay for a great vacation. You can also look at my write up from last year under the 5 star reviews from 4/14/2011 stay. It's all that and more!!!! Thanks again Achilles,Georgia and Harriet for another great vacation stay!!! We found the listing of this beautiful place to be very accurate..it was clean & well maintained..the owner was interested in our ease of finding everything we needed..the view of the gulf as we entered the condo was just awesome! The covered parking ramp & elevators are a very nice extra & very convenient. We will return & definitely want our children to experience this wonderful place with us.. We ended with each day swimming in the beautiful pool after spending hours on the glorious beach..we found fun restaurants not only in fort walton, but in destin as well..had a ball!

My husband, myself, and our three boys stayed in this condo during our spring break. It was FABULOUS! The condo was beautifully decorated and the view (even from the kitchen) was amazing. We were extemely blessed with wonderful weather which made our stay even better. Achilles and Georgia were great to work with and I had the pleasure of meeting Achilles upon our arrival...super nice! We went to several restaurants during our stay and I have to say that Gilligan's was our favorite. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere on the water. Our favorite day was when we rented pontoons at the Destin harbour and went over to Crab Island. The water is to your knees and it is crystal clear. The kids had a fantastic time on the inflatable water slide (on the water). We made a lot of wonderful memories last week and I can't wait to come back. Achilles and Georgia...Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us! It is Fabulous!!!

We love the condo and the beautiful view of the beach.We enjoyed the convenience of a washer and dryer in the unit and the proximity of grocery stores and restaurants. My family had a wonderful time at your vacation home. This was a great place for the family to stay. Beaches and pools were cleaned everyday. This condo had premium amenities not hotel room stuff. It was like moving your home to the beach. Check-in and check-out was so easy. The only issue we had was the elevators were too slow but since we were only on the 2nd floor we took the stairs.

We had a great stay at the condo. The pictures and description were spot on. The only thing I would add is there is a large walk-in closet off the master bathroom, great for storage! The condo was fully stocked and clean. Furnishings are nice and well kept. The pool is big. We came during peak season and there was still plenty of room in the pool. The location is great and close to everything (stores, restaurants, putt putt/golfing, the pier, and public park.) The owners were easy to work with. They gave us all the info. we needed, phone numbers to get in touch with them, key code was easy and secure. When we come back to the area we will stay here again! Thank you!

Destination Wedding July 2011

From the time our daughter decided on a beach wedding we knew we needed a nice condo where she and her brides maids could have plenty of room to get ready. We picked the perfect place. It was only a short distance from the ceremony, we used the master bedroom closet for the brides private dressing area, and there are several mirrors through out the condo where each girl could admire her own beauty. lol Aside from the big day...those of us who actually stayed here loved everything about it. Beach front (it is literally right outside your window, incredible view), Pool front (it is literally right outside your window too), the condo is spacious, beautifully decorated, and kitchen very well equiped. The owners (Achilles and Georgia Sakis) are great and are right there if you need them. Thank you both for making our daughter's special day "over the top". Will definitely be back.

This condo was perfect for us! It was very nicely decorated, and looks just like the photos. The bunk room was a hit for my 2 daughters. They loved having their own place to sleep with their own TV! The pool was very spacious, and the location of the condo was perfect being on the 2nd floor. Also, the owners were a pleasure to deal with, and made everything so easy. This condo has it all and is so tastefully decorated. We have rented condos in the area previously, but this time we were so pleased. The condo literally had everything we needed and a gorgeous view to top it all off! We will be renting with these folks again in the future. The beach in front of the condo is well kept and we enjoyed a full week of playing in the sugar white sand. The pool is also well attended to and clean, a nice break every once and awhile from the beach. We would highly recommend spending your vacation in this condo. It was well worth the cost and very accomodating. The owners are great folks to deal with as well.

Stayed June 4-9 and loved it. The property was well maintained, and kept very clean. The condo was well furnished and perfectly suitable for a family of 5, or more. Loved the parking garage too, as it kept my car from being so hot. Great view of the pool and ocean! Owners were wonderful to do business with. Will definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay and this condo, the owners were very nice and helpful in every way. The condo we well kept and nicely decorate. It was comfortable and would work well for a family or couples. The pool was large and never to crowded. Loved the high top table on the balcony, and the parking garage made parking easy and the car cool. We would defiantly stay at this condo again. Thank You Achilles and Georgia for sharing!

We love Okaloosa Island and the Water's Edge Condos! We stay here every year in May and have a great time. We brought the kids and stayed for a week at this wonderful condo. The condo itself is plenty spacious but the bunk room is perfect for kids. The condo is very close to the beach and the unit itself is right above the pool so the older kids could swim while we sat on the balcony and watched. The pool size is wonderful as well. Overall, we had a great week and I can't wait to go back. The water on the beach is beautiful!!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It's a very well kept,clean,well decorated beautiful condo. You have a beautiful view of the gulf where you can sit and have breakfast in the morning on the patio and watch all the dolphins swimming up and down the coast line. What a way to wake up in the morning or afternoon or for that matter in the evening!!!!! Excellent view of the pool too. Just in case you have kids to watch. The listing description is very accurate. The photos that are with the listing most accurately reflect the appearance and views from the condo !!!!!! The condo is clean and very well maintained. The whole building and property is one of the best maintained that I have come across in my 15 plus years of coming down to Okaloosa Island. The owners Achilles and Georgia are extreamly nice people. They were very helpful in making sure we had a very nice vacation. They went above and beyond the call of duty in making sure a good time was had by all. Everything went as smooth as possible from our first contact with the owners on the phone to the final transaction. It was nice knowing they are local owners just in case we might have needed something. I have highly recommended this condo to my family, friends and put a very nice recommendation on all the bulletin boards at work!!!!! Beautiful Condo

The photos of the condo are accurate in their depiction. The property is well maintained, very clean.The decor is perfect for the beach. The view from the balcony can't be beat! The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. With a grocery store down the street, it was convenient to eat in. An outside grill by the pool provided a great outdoor cooking experience. The heated pool was great for those cool days. Both pools provide enough room for many swimmers. The property is quiet, and off the path of "tourists", but there are restaurants and other attractions close by if desired. The owner was very efficient in answering all of our questions. We would definitely come back, and recommend this property to family and friends.

Our first impression of the Condo was “Wow!" The décor is beautiful and the spaciousness—exactly what we needed for a family of teenagers. We couldn’t have asked for a better view of the ocean and beach (other then on those few unmentionable rainy days!) The heated outdoor pool this time of the year was a lifesaver. We appreciated the drawer full of games-much family time. The kitchen amities provided us with all we needed to enjoy family meals together. The large grill out by the pool was fabulous! A day trip to Destin on one of those rainy days gave us lots to see. We enjoyed family bowling although we will never admit our scores. Overall, the trip was one we would love to repeat despite a few bad days of weather. The condo is one we’d definitely use again and recommend to family and friends. Have fun.! I am a single dad with six children and when we are able to go on vacation, it is a big deal. This year we had a blast and I highly recommend taking your family to this wonderful vacation get away. Location with the beach and pool right there made it very convenient. The condo was very nice as well. Plenty of space for the seven of us. Believe it or not even though I was totally out numbered, I still felt like I got a vacation too. The convenience factor of having the beach and pools right there with all the things that you can do in the area made it really great. Go for it! You can't go wrong with this place.

Our family travels to the beach for a week of fun in the sun every summer. We not only bring our children but there friends and some extended family. This summer was the best yet. We rented two units. This condo unit was beautiful and well equiped. It was also very well maintained and clean. The covered parking was nice because we always have tons of stuff to unload. The beach and local activities were great for all age groups from older adults all the way down to my 5 year old. We definatly plan to stay here again next summer.

This Water's Edge unit was beautiful and accurately described. We enjoy the spacious layout and comfortable beds; the kitchen was well set up and stocked with quality kitchen supplies. It was clean and bright and welcoming! The pool was great after a day on the beach, which is right there! Parking was easy as wa getting around the area. Everything you need is right there. The deep sea fishing included with the unit was awesome-we caught 10#' to 15# each time we went out and had delicious dinners grilled on the grounds of the complex. You won't go wrong with this unit!!

We have stayed in the unit twice and have been very please both times. The location is great. The unit is well decorated and clean. You are just steps from the beach and have a super view from the master bedroom and kitchen/living room. The kids enjoyed the pool which is located just off the balcony. The property is well maintained and is a good choice for families. We plan to return again.

This is the second year that we have vacationed at Okaloosa Island and have loved staying at WatersEdge #209! The unit is beautiful, convenient, spacious - perfect for our family. Our kids ages; 7, 10 and 20 looked forward to returning to the condo, and all they remembered from the year before; the beautiful pool, perfect ocean views, immaculate beach and great unit where everyone had their own "space" - We love it! We had a lovely time at Waters Edge #209. The condo was practically sitting on top of the pool(easy to converse with family members in the pool) and the view of the ocean was perfect. The water temperature of the pool was exactly right although the wind chilled you a bit when you got out (we decided to stay in the pool as much as possible). There was some stormy weather the first day and we saw some surfers on 6-7 foot waves. We saw dolphins on two mornings and three evenings very close in to the beach. The accomodations were very comfortable, tastefully decorated and provided everything we needed (except food). April is a good time to go because there were very few tenents--we practically had the building to ourselves. If you want to use the internet be sure to take an ethernet cable; I assumed it was wireless but it is not. I had no trouble with the connection using the cable but I would have preferred wireless. The beach was wonderful and you can walk to the pier in 20 minutes. For $1 per person you can walk to the end of the pier and see some pretty interesting creatures. There are also some interesting places we discovered late in the week; one was a sno-cone place that had live music and bar-b-que called KC's; it is just across the Brooks Bridge (left on 98) on the left. It has a pile of sand for the kids to play in, wine & beer, food and live music all out in the open air with no cover charge. I suggest you explore early on. Have fun.

My family and I stayed in this condo for Labor Day weekend. It was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in before. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The beds and furniture were all extremely comfortable and the decor is gorgeous, especially in the master bedroom. We had great weather and I would definitely consider it one of my favorite vacations so far! Thanks again!

We just returned from a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo and couldn't have been happier! The beach is beautiful and the view from the balcony is great! The condo is furnished so well - we were very comfortable there. The location was great for us - not too crowded but close to restaurants and Destin. Would love to return in the future!

We had a great vacation at this condo. It was clean and comfortable with a great ocean view. Our children (ages 5 and 2) especially loved the pool. The white sand beach were beautiful. You do need a car to get to restaurants and stores, etc but that didn't bother us. We appreciated the quiet family atmosphere at the Water's Edge.

Thanks so much for sharing your condo with us. It was very clean and the decor was perfect. I loved the palms and tropical colors. The kitchen was well stocked, even though I didn't cook very much! I was there with my daughter and two teammates from her softball team, we played in the softball beach bash. We'll treasure the memories of our time together!
