I'm a writer, researcher, and environmental planner, with a special interest in energy and architecture and a special focus on New Urbanism
(planned developments designed to promote walkable, bikeable, livable communities with work places, shops, restaurants--everything necessary for daily life--contained within.)
I love the Inn at Seacrest Beach because it is a low-rise, low occupancy building located within a short walking or biking distance to two of the most beautiful planned developments in the world--Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach.
I get to see in the practical implementation of all my theories about livable communities--what makes residents as well as visitors want to call it "home."
When I'm here I feel as though I have the best of both worlds, where theory and practicality have joined together.
