This dwelling is located on the Sheepscot Bay in the Boothbay Region. It is located right at the water; you can fish from the lower deck. There is also an upper deck which is screened-in and provides a favorite sleeping area for children and teens. The property faces west for great sunsets. Seals are visible on the ledges near the opposite shore.
Guests have the use of a community tennis court and large fishing/boating dock, all within a couple minutes' walk. Boothbay offers boating/whale watching/fishing trips. There are beaches, hiking trails, casual and fine dining, antiqueing, the Maine Botanical Gardens, and endless other activities, all nearby. LL Bean and other retailers are located in Freeport, Maine, about 45 minutes away. This is a great location for your dinghy or kayak; guests have direct access to the water from in front of the dwelling. There is a lobster pound/general store within two miles.
