This four year old vacation home is octagonal in shape, with massive exposed beams. Three sides of the eight face the ocean. Available for weekly rental, Saturday to Saturday. The lower level is the foyer area with covered parking outside.
The second level is the living room, dining area, half bath, and kitchen. A large bedroom with queen bed and private bath (with tub) is also on this level along with a small bedroom with queen sleep sofa. The living room and dining areas have 20 foot ceilings and glass walls providing the greatest ocean views possible. Outside is a deck that covers the three ocean sides of the house. Watching the sunset (or rise for you early birds) from the deck is magnificent.
The third level consists of a large bedroom with queen bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds. There is a full bath with a shower located between the two bedrooms with access from inside of either bedroom. Cable TV in living room and three bedrooms. All appliances are top quality. Living areas are floored in ceramic tile and bedrooms have wall to wall carpet.
Beautiful landscaping is found in the front yard. The back yard has extensive wooden paths leading to the walkway to the beach. You can walk from the living room to the beach without ever letting your toes touch the sand. The beach outside of the house is almost always empty - I have never seen a crowd. The fishing is world-class.
One of the best kept secrets of Kure Beach is the "season after the season". After Labor Day things get real quiet, the weather is absolutely perfect, the beach is your own, and the rent goes down! Thanksgiving and Christmas make great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
