Highland Woods is a gated, upscale golf, swim and tennis community. It is minutes from the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, and just a short drive from the islands of Captivo and Sanibel, known for it’s shells and fishing. The area has dozens of fine restaurants, or you can enjoy the on-site country club restaurant, along with its golf view bar and grill room.
The private 18-hole (par 72) championship golf course (designed and built by noted architect Gordon Lewis) is meticulously maintained and can be enjoyed by all levels of golfers. Course facilities include water driving range, short game area and practice putting green. Between June 1 and November 1, transfer membership offers reciprocal golf at 53 area golf courses. There are four lit tennis courts, and a state of the art fitness center, as well as seven heated pools, plus a hot tub.
The villa is spacious, bright, with over 1500 square feet of air conditioned living area, vaulted ceilings, and all new furnishings. The Master bedroom has a king sized bed, large mirrored ensuite bath, and walk-in closet. The second bedroom (twins) can be closed off for privacy and has an adjacent mirrored bath. The den is separate and has a sleeper sofa. There are 2 additional sleeper sofas in the living room. The bright galley kitchen has loads of cupboard and pantry space, all convenient appliances. Morning sun brightens the rear lanai and kitchen nook, and sets on the front lanai. The rear lanai overlooks the 10th fairway. Full sized washer and dryer. The attached garage also has lots of cupboards for storage.
