  Me and my 3 teenage daughters had a relaxing Spring Break in Julie's condo on the beach. We loved the first floor condo. It was just a short walk out the patio to the beach or the pool area. The security made us feel safe and the couches and lounge chairs overlooking the ocean were a favorite spot to read or lay out. The area was mostly condo's so the huge beach felt semi private. Its the first beach we've been to where there were NO vendors, a nice treat. There were great waves for boogie boarding and shallow water for young kids. A great beach for walking or running as well. We woke up to the sunrises and would catch the gorgeous sunsets after dinner on the other side of the island. There were tons of shops along the main strip for plenty of shopping. We would definitely recommend this condo, it was spacious and well kept.

  We go to S.Padre every year and we have found a place that is great for grandchildren and our little babies (our dogs). The condo has plenty of room, the pool is great, the staff very helpful. Working with Julie is wonderful. The only thing is that washing/drying is coin operated and not in unit. It was no big problem, but bring plenty of quarters. We are planning to spend Memorial Day every year at this condo. Can't tell you how we love having the ground floor,so easy for us, kids and pets.

  Even though the weather wasn't perfect the accommodations were great. Waking up to the sound of crashing waves and looking out of the master bedroom or living room to the ocean rejuvenates the soul. It was nice having to pool just steps away from the sliding glass door along with access to the wonderful deck area with the most comfortable lounge chairs. It was a great place to hang out and gaze at the ocean view. The kitchen is small, but stocked with the supplies we needed to cook the fish my son caught all within eyesight of the condo! I have to say, we left South Padre relaxed and rejuvenated. I would definately recommend staying at this condo. We will be coming back!

  The condo was great. The views of the water were amazing, and the property was very well maintained. It's a clean, bright, beautiful place to go and relax. I have 4 small children, so the fact that it's on the first floor with easy access to a patio and yard was hugely important and made our stay so easy. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Texas beach getaway.

  We had an excellent stay right on the beach over New Years Eve. This condo is the perfect place to stay with 2 bedrooms, to walk right out onto your very own beach. Full kitchen, back patio and beautiful sunsets. Try it, you wont be sorry!!

  This is my second stay in this condo and I felt like I had come home. The unit is equipped with everything you might need. It is clean and well maintained and if something breaks, the owner fixes it asap and at your convenience. I love being on the ground floor so you don't have to carry all your beach gear up and down the stairs. The complex is located further north than the majority of buildings on the island which is great because there are fewer people on the beach. There is security on the grounds which I appreciated as I was by myself. I cannot wait to return!

  We had a great time in South Padre. This condominium is in an excellent location in Bahia Mar and to the beach! Bahia Mar has very good security and the grounds are well landscaped with thick green grass. This particular condo faces the beach with a perfect view;yet, a sense of privacy. We recommend it for anyone's stay in South Padre. It was perfect for our family and her two little pets.

  What makes this unit so appealing: truly ocean front, first floor for easy access to beach, only a few steps away from sliding glass door to staircase leading to beach. View sunrise literally right from the two patios. Second bed and bath separate from master, adding privacy. Just a few miles from Blue Marlin grocery and numerous restaurants. Unit is in good shape, including kitchen and bath rooms. Best unit on the island to rent!!! About 1100 sq ft so plenty of room.

  The description of this property was accurate except that it was actually nicer than described. Waking up to the view of the ocean was breathtaking. The kitchen is well-stocked, the beds are comfortable and everything was in working order. I had a couple of questions about the condo and when I called Julie, she answered promptly and was most helpful. Since this is a pet friendly property, we were able to take our two dogs which made the weekend even more enjoyable. If the beach is not your thing, the pool is sparklling and there are lots of chairs and loungers to relax. Blackbeard's was delicious as always, U.S. Bar, not so much.
