The Montecristo Estates invites visitors into our private, gated-community just off the Pacific Coast. The Estates are located next to the Pedregal in Cabo Pacifica, the most prestigious private development on the Baja and in Mexico.
Montecristo Estate Villas are located high above the existing Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach timeshare facility. Our villa offers stunning unobstructed views over the desert, breathtaking vistas of the Pacific Ocean and setting sun as well as sightings of annual whale migrations.
This is an ultra luxurious "Hacienda-Style" split-level, 4,500 square (2,800 under the roof and 1,700 in deck) spacious villa. It is wonderfully quiet and tranquil yet close to the popular night clubs. Sleeping arrangements include two rooms with kings, one room with two queens, a sofa-bed for two downstairs and the upstairs lounge has a sofa for a child if necessary. This villa can sleep 8-10 people comfortably. Our villa includes every possible comfort with features such as marble floors and baths, walk-in closets, granite kitchen counter tops, stainless steel appliances, fine magohony wood throughout the home, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis and a private infinity pool. Within is also a DSL computer, DVD, 5 TVs, washer/dryer and ultra modern kitchen. The master bedroom has its own balcony and terrace, Jacuzzi and 42" plasma TV. All of the water supplied to the villa (and throughout the resort) is purified and safe for drinking.
Our guests staying at Montecristo are given "full-access" to all the amenities of the stunning Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort. This resort is located just below the Montecristo Villas and can be accessed via the FREE chauffeured golf carts that are available 24 hours a day to get you around Montecristo Estates and the entire Sunset Beach Resort! The Sunset Beach Resort has two wonderful fine-dining restaurants, three bars and two delis--great for stocking your villa kitchen. The unforgettable, 16,000 square foot, European Health Spa and Fitness Center are also located here and a "must-do" for anyone looking for total relaxation. This spa was recently listed as one of the top spas in the world by the Spa 2007 Worldwide Guide. There is a Coffee Shop, authentically decorated 16th century chapel, medical center, 5 pools with swim-up bars, kids activities and concierge as well.

The Montecristo Villas are set away from the dense concentration of hotels along the Sea of Cortez and the resort's expansive site and private beach provides guests with a unique tranquil and secluded setting. Because of the strong undertow, the Pacific Ocean is not suitable for swimming in Los Cabos. However our villa is located only ten minutes drive from Medano Beach where there is safe swimming and a variety of recreational watercraft.
We suggest using the FREE shuttle, an A/C Mercedes bus, that runs hourly from the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort to get to Medano Beach. The shuttle also stops at Pueblo Rose and Blanco resorts so you can visit their "sand" and experience their restaurants and boutiques as well.
We must mention some of the great activities that we have tried in Cabo. The first time in Cabo we experimented with the ATVs. What fun!!! They were a great way to see the desert up close.
Diving and Snorkeling:
We went with a group to La Paz. It was about a 2.5 hr drive along some winding, narrow roads but what a wonderful way to see the interior of Baja! It more than surpassed our expectations when we were able to swim with the sea lions and dolphins.
Golf:
This is the "Pebble Beach" of Baja! Play golf on courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Pete Dye, Robert Trent Jones II and Tome Weiskopf. Three PGA Senior Slams have been hosted in the area. All six of the local, world-class championship courses have breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez and surrounding mountains. Need we say more?
Fishing:
It is "world-class". The fish love to hang out where the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez meet the cooler water of the Pacific Ocean. Through the concierge at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Resort, it takes no time at all to charter a boat and spend a day on the water.
Water fun:
The kid in all of us like San Lucas Bay. Here we rent power or sail boats, inflatable rafts and kayaks, go parasailing or use the jet skis. Leave the kids and check out Playa del Amor. It is a secluded, quiet lovers beach that is available only by boat or kayak.
Go Karting:
Try Cabo Karting Center--USA toll free=866-734-9651. It is located near Costco and Office Max. Was alot of fun for our high schoolers!

Our family stayed at the Montecristo over Christmas 2011. We have two adult children that came with me and my husband. We stayed for 7 days and it was amazing. There are three very spacious bedrooms and all of them have beautiful ocean views. The heated private pool is very comfortable and a wonderful way to relax and spend the afternoon. Right off the master bedroom is a large hot tub that is a nice way to end the evening. The kitchen is all you could ever ask for. There are stainless steel appliances and granite countertops along with a spacious dining area. Dishware, utensils, and all cooking necessities are provided for ease in meal preparation. There are two living areas, one upstairs and one downstairs, each with there own pull-out couches to accommodate any additional guests. Each level has sliding glass doors to offer entrance to the balcony with the hot tub and grill along with an additional dining area and the lower level opens to sunbeds and the private pool. There is a linen closet and laundry room which really makes it nice for limited packing. There is daily maid service and pool service to make your days even more relaxing!!! If you rent a car, there is also a covered parking space right at the front door. There are multiple free transportation opprtunities to the main lobby, which has shops, restaurants, etc. and also free transportation into Cabo San Lucas. The travel time to Cabo is approximately 10 minutes and has endless shopping, restaurants, activities that you could ever want. We will definitely rent this villa again, as it was a gorgeous place to take our family for vacation any time of the year. The overall best part of this villa by far, is the panoramic ocean view. We are high enough on the bluff to see miles in all directions of ocean and beach. We saw several whales from the balcony and enjoyed all the essence of the overall view. No matter how large your family or group is, this place has all the amenities you could want. There is something for everyone. You can be as busy as you want or you can be as laid back as you want. We have traveled often in Mexico, and this is by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed!!!!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

This the first time the kids have been to Cabo. It was a delight to get away from the cold in Wisconsin. Each morning the kids would get their own breakfast and sit at the poolside and look out over the Pacific. There was always a contest to see how many whale spouts were sighted.
