  My wife and I stayed in this apartment for 1 week and thought it was first-class and would thoroughly recommend it. The facilities were as advertised and the rooms were spotless and looked just as the photos in the holiday-rentals web page. The rooms are spacious and bright with high ceilings and the double-bed comfortable. The wi-fi worked great. Only watched the TV for a few minutes - too busy being a tourist. The apartment block is well-maintained and clean inside with a lovely entrance foyer and wide stairs that wrap around a cage-style lift. My wife was taken with the little bench seat in the lift! The area felt very safe and with the apartment on the fourth floor and with the double-glazed windows there is hardly any noise in the apartment from the street level. There are plenty of stores close by for buying whatever you need and plenty of places to eat out. We liked the location. Its quite quiet, not in the heart of the main tourist area so its not mobbed with people but its close enough that its very easy to walk to many of the main tourist attractions. We didnt use any buses but used the Metro (Lepanto station) on several occasions (good for getting to the Colosseum); its only a few minutes walk. The correspondence with the owner Giovanni prior and during the visit was first-rate, very helpful and quick to respond. We were met at the apartment on arrival and given a friendly welcome with useful advice. We had a great time in Rome and the apartment played a big part in that enjoyment.

  Wir durften zu dritt ein unvergessliches Wochenende in diesem Appartement verbringen. Die Lage war perfekt, da man zu Fuß fast alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen konnte. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Die Beschreibung in Internet entsprach der Realität, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut und sowohl der Vermieter als auch sein Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch die Buchung der Wohnung war recht unkompliziert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Empfehlenswert für alle, die Rom in ungezwungener Atmosphäre besichtigen möchten.

  We stayed at Casa Visconti with our 2 young children this summer and we can strongly recommend it. It is very well situated, near St. Peter’s on the west side of the city, but also within walking distance of the city centre and all of the main attractions. There are a number of shops nearby, so you will not be short of supplies. Giovanni is an excellent host, who took the time to show us around the apartment and also the best routes in and around the city. He has very good English (which is very useful when, like us, you only know the basics of Italian). The apartment was very clean and large enough for the 4 of us. There is also a small balcony, where you can watch the Roman street life beneath you while also enjoying a view of the dome of St. Peter’s. We had a lovely visit to Rome and having an apartment of this quality at a great price helped to make it so. We would have no hesitation in trying to book here again. John & Mary Boyle, Edinburgh

  It was great first time in Rome and it was really pleasant stay at San Pietro apartment! Advantages: ! Easy booking ! Fast transfer from Fiumicino to Piazza Cavour by shuttle bus (only few steps to intersection of Via Tacito and Via Visconti) ! Red carpet on entrance :-) ! Kindest and helpful greeting by Romeo ! Total comfortable ! Elegant interior ! nice, light, air, hight, volume ! Respectable surrounding of Prati district ! Strategic location (main city attractions and power places within walking distance) ! Flexible occupancy ! Lepanto subway in vicinity !   There is nothing but praise to be found in this review of our visit of 8 nights at Casa Visconti. We were met on time by a professional and warm host Romeo who took care of our aclaimation to the apartment and to the general area. The maid had performed an extremely thorough cleaning of the entire apartment and we were good to go. Centrally located, we easily and willingly walked to every major Roma attraction and tackled the bus line layout thanks to resource materials available at the tourist informaition office. Many buses lead directly to the Casa Visconti neighborhood and you will find a Despair Supermarket within a 45 second walk to the apartment. We eventually met the owner who was exceedingly gracious. The apartment was immaculate, no scratches on the walls, fully equipped and all that you could ask for. There is, on a slightly off-key note, a pub four stories below the apartment that on several nights created some boisterous late evening noise. Shut the windows and you will be fine for a full nights rest.

  We stayed in this excellent apartment for 5 nights (with my husband and my 7 year old daughter). It's a clean, well maintained and spacious apartment. It's exactly the same as described and seen on the photos. The location is perfect. Everything is walking distance. We never took a bus or metro, we went everywhere by walking. There're lots of shopping facilities around the apartment There're 2 supermarkets in walking distance (3 min.) There's a grocery selling fruits and vegetables just around the corner. There're lots of restaurants nearby. The district is 100% safe, you can even walk at nights. Romeo, the coordinator, speaks English very well and he's very helpful (many thanks to him!) I would definetly recommend this apartment to everyone (especially to families with children)

  The apartment is very elegant furnished, it is fully equipped with all facilities. There are very big and light rooms, high ceilings, pictures, books. The location is perfect for travellers without car, it is very close to the city center. The apartment is very comfortable for a long stay. I will recommend this apartment to all my friends!

  We spent six nights here with my fiancee, and we had a great time! The location of the apartment is the best possible. Everything is walking distance, 10 min to St Peters Square, roughly an hour to Colosseo, but if we were tired, there is a metro station a couple of blocks away, and there are also several bus lines passing by round the block. The apartment itself is very spacious with high ceiling, huge bathroom, and with a view to St Peters Cathedral, from the balcony. It is on the third floor of a wonderful, massive and stylish building. There is also a doorman available through the day. The building is located in a small street, and it is just like the neighbourhood is 100% safe. Although the street is quite, take it as in Roman terms, you can easily wake up for a scooter passing by on the street in the middle of the night. There is AC in both rooms, though we did not use them even in the hottest summer days.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

They liked the taste of our home and its style, we appreciated theirs. They have helped to make us better. This is unparalleled. We are waiting for their return as soon as possible!

  Mein Freund und ich haben im Frühjahr eine Woche in dieser Ferienwohnung in Rom verbracht. Die Wohnung sieht exakt so aus wie auf den Fotos. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern und auch die Übergabe der Wohnung der Wohnung durch einen englisch sprechenden Mitarbeiter klappte auch problemlos. Zudem gab es von diesem noch einige Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten, Nahverkehr und ähnliches. Die Wohnung liegt in der Nähe einer Metrostation und es gibt auch mehrere Bushaltestellen in der Nähe. Der Vatikan ist in circa 10-15 Minuten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zwei Supermärkte sind auch in direkter Nähe, so dass man sich problemlos mit Lebensmitteln und allem, was man sonst noch braucht versorgen kann. Wir werden die Wohnung Freunden weiterempfehlen und würden auch selbst nocheinmal dort wohnen, wenn wir nochmal nach Rom fahren sollten.
