Beautifully furnished and on the 16th (top) floor, the oceanfront penthouse is situated in the very well maintained and gated, 82 unit Sands on the Ocean condominium complex. Includes the use of our private garage.
Full ocean view from living room, dining room and kitchen, while both bedrooms overlook the Indian River lagoon and city of Fort Pierce. Spectacular sunsets from bedroom balconies, and sunrises (if you are an early riser) on ocean side. Ocean side balcony provides a great platform for star gazing on moonless nights, and beautiful moon rises, especially near full moon. Pets NOT allowed, Non-Smoking, and Adults Only.
The beach is just a few steps away on a private boardwalk from the secluded swimming pool area. North Hutchinson Island beaches have been named among the top 20 in the world in prior years and are spectacular at low tide. It's an easy 20 minute beach walk to the Fort Pierce Inlet State Recreational Area. Avalon State Park, Pepper Beach Park and the Navy Seals Museum are nearby. Vero Beach, a few minutes north, is home to many famous restaurants, challenging golf courses, and the Dodgers baseball winter home.
Many excellent restaurants are just across the A-1-A draw bridge in Ft. Pierce.

Why the Owner Chose Fort Pierce
We purchased an 8th floor condo in the same building (Sands on the Ocean) in 1992. We love the beach, the privacy and the floor plan of the two bedroom condo that opens to the east over the Atlantic Ocean and to the West toward the Indian River. When the 16th (top) floor penthouse came on the market, we immediately fell in love with it and bought it. We sold the 8th floor unit to a family member a year later.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The kitchen is open to the dining room and both overlook the Atlantic Ocean. There is a balcony right off the dining room and we love to have dinner outside with the moon over the ocean. There is always the sound of the surf and an evening breeze. There are virtually no flying insects because of the height. The living room has an lcd tv and a stereo system. It opens to the ocean view balcony as well. Both the master and guest bedrooms open to a balcony facing west with magnificent views of the sunset over the Indian River. The master bedroom has a private bath, walk-in closet, queen bed and tv. The guest bedroom has a fold down queen size Murphy bed, desk and chair, with an adjacent bathroom. The common areas include a card/game room with a pool table and wet bar, a large lobby which opens to a patio with a community gas barbeque grill. There is a workout spa, sauna with a walkout to the swimming pool and hot tub. From there a short boardwalk takes you over the protected dune area to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You can walk miles along the surf, with very little company, or you can swim or sun all day. All this privacy is only minutes away from shopping and excellent restaurants.

Not only beautiful sunrise ocean view but BEAUTIFUL sunsets in a very lovely condo. Just a walk out the door to a very clean beach. The condo is it self lovely,and has all the kitchen equipment you would need for a vacation. The Sands on the Ocean condominum is really a well maintained and always someone to help you if needed Ft Pierce does have alot of great restaurants and Vero Beach has shopping and wonderful restaurants. Yes I would recommend it. The owners were very nice to work with.
