The home is newly-furnished in Hawaiian plantation style and sleeps up to 7 (one king or two twin beds, one queen bed, one double/twin bunk combination). Owner can provide suggestions for families visiting the island for the first time.

I have been visiting Hawaii since 1984 and decided to make my family's dream of living in the islands a bit closer to reality by purchasing a home there in 2002. For now, we still live most of the year in Maryland near Washington, D.C., and we want to share our 2nd home in paradise with you.

No. 12 at Mauna Kai provides all the conveniences of home with the experience of true island living. The separate entrance for the 2nd master bedroom suite provides an extra sense of privacy, the large outdoor covered lanai is fully furnished and perfect for dining and entertaining, and the ocean can be seen from the 2nd floor master bedroom suite. The home is professionally maintained by my on-island manager.
