This luxury waterfront vacation home features the very best of what the Lake of the Ozarks area has to offer - spacious luxury, main channel lake views, private pool, huge decks, lakefront dock, and privacy. The Porto Cima, Shawnee Bend location is across the lake from the Lodge of the Four Seasons and is close to everything to see and do.
The floor plan consists of two separate levels each with their own complete living, entertainment, kitchen, sleeping areas, and even decks. You can be as together or apart as your mood dictates. Surrounded by trees, the views are expansive across the lake by day, and filled with sparkling lights on the opposite shore at night.
Fully furnished, the open floor plan flows across living, dining, and gourmet kitchen areas with 16 foot high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Door walls open onto large decks with grill center and outdoor furniture. Massive stone fireplace, four-seasons sunroom, and HDTV large screen TV center complete the main level. No matter what time of day or the weather, there is always something to do.
The master suite features lake views, an enormous bath with free-standing glass block shower, whirlpool tub, large dressing area, walk-in closet, and a private entrance. The bedroom and whirlpool tub share a see-through fireplace. Just open the bubbly and soak away the day’s activities.
The second level repeats it all again with living, dining, gourmet kitchen, fireplace, another entertainment center, and opens out to its own deck with lots of outdoor furniture for all to enjoy the views and listen to the central indoor/outdoor stereo system. This level is the access to Grandview private pool, deck and pool furniture, and kitchen. Provides great views of the lake's main channel.
The large dock has a sunning area with outdoor furniture, ladder to the water for swimming, and well/lifts for a 36 foot boat, and a personal watercraft, and a storage area with a refrigerator for those nice cool drinks and snacks at the dock. Swim, sun, fish, or just sit and do nothing while watching boats cruise the main channel.
Everything is provided, fully furnished kitchens with service for ten persons, linens and towels, washer/dryer, and each bedroom has its own private bath. Central zoned heat and air conditioning. There is an attached three-car garage. The location is central to the lake’s many attractions, activities and restaurants.

My husband and I grew up in Missouri near Lake of the Ozarks. On a trip to revisit family and friends, we saw the dramatic changes to the lake area from our childhood visits. Our decision was made for us for a VR location at the lake.
We feel this is a midwest vacation paradise. Paradise can be boating, golfing, shopping, or laying by the pool and relaxing. Or picking a good book to read, sit in the shade on comfortable decks furniture, or your area maybe the four season sunroom sipping your favorite refreshments and enjoying the views.

The Unique Benefits at this House
Private home with all the amenities. Lake activities as we want to participate (golf, shopping, boating, swimming, lake and wild life watching), with breath taking views and privacy.
We are in the prestigous Porto Cima area and in a Nature Area. We see many varieties of plants and animals. It is spectular to see Eagles flying overhead, Blue Herons landing near or on docks. Ducks and thier families will actually talk to you during their swim around the docks looking for hand outs. Fish jumping out of the water during early mornings and sunsets and always seeming to avoid the fisherman. Deer visiting the wooded areas and occasionally our plants and landscaping.
In the Spring, seeing the wild dogwoods and other native plants in bloom. Summer is the outdoor activities time. In the Fall/autumn the vivid colors. Winters can be a great time for a "getway" and "cuddle alert" with that someone special enjoying the warmth from the fireplace, sharing a nice bottle of your favorite beverage, and taking in the beautiful lake views.

WOW!! That was my first thought when arriving at the property. My family was celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and we were excited to be able to get away to such a spectacular location. The space was just right for accommodations for all and yet the private feeling of not being right on top of each other. The home was just so beautiful and secure and provided everything that you could want or expect. The cleanliness and superb maintenance of the property exceeded all expectations. Everything was thought of as far as toiletries, detergents, cookware, even games for those evenings while relaxing. The grill on the deck was what every chef or husband could possibly hope for. Everything seemed to be centrally located as far as the activities we wanted to experience. We rented a pontoon boat (equipped with skis and tube for tubing) not too far from the house. They would even bring it to you if you could not go in person to rent it. Also, there were jet skis if you chose to be a little more adventuresome. You could order a massage, dinner, even groceries. The golf courses were the hit but most of all the dock out over the lake was the greatest hit. The fishermen in the family were in their glory. Some days were spent swimming and others just relaxing and gazing over the lake view…..truly a GRANDVIEW. The swinging bridges were not too far for an excursion and making fond memories with lots of pictures. The caves with guided tours were certainly something different to explore. The dam presented a beautiful sight and educated us as to why the area became the LAKE OF THE OZARKS. There was even a religious shrine in the near vicinity of the Virgin Mary for those that desired a little time or reason for reflection or prayer. Although we didn’t dine out frequently, the restaurants recommended in the home owner’s guide, were positively great…….great food and great view. The outlet mall was the ladies choice for shopping and the tourist traps were not far for the souvenirs to take home. Our memories of our 40th anniversary will never be forgotten at the GRANDVIEW HOUSE ON THE LAKE. Nothing else could have possibly compared to our truly luxury stay at this property.

I rented in August for my 50th birthday. 10 women, we had a blast. The pool, the decks, immaculate, no one wanted to leave. There was room enough for all of us. We all enjoyed having the massage therapist come to the house. A beautiful yacht was rented to give us a tour of the lake. A perfect place to celebrate or just relax. The owners where very helpful with where to go and what to do. I plan on returning again and again. Thanks again for renting out your beautiful place.

This home made me feel just like I was home in another city. It has a wonderful view of the lake and the lights reflecting off of the lake at night are awesome. Once you are settled in there is practically no reason to leave but there are plenty of attractions close by to keep you busy if you like. The home and property are immaculate and the dock, pool and all of the other special touches make this a place that I will visit again. Highly recommend!
