Map & Owner's Profile
Downtown Denver $125 a Night Sherman/Grant Historic District
Year Purchased: 2005
Why the Owner Chose Denver
Looking for a cityscape from the mountains of Colorado, we chose the Capital Hill neighborhood. Easy walking distance to everything in downtown Denver. The neighborhood is very eclectic, lively and fun. A varied diversity in culture, foods, shopping and business....this historic district has tons to offer the locals and visiting guests.
Owner's Map of Denver
We moved to Colorado from California, in the early 90's for a change of pace and to raise our 2 children.

Wonderful Apartment!

The owner so nicely agreed to let us bring our toddler along and we all loved it. It was the perfect place for us - close to grocery stores, parks and the downtown. The apartment is clean and bright and plenty of room for the three of us. The owner was also very flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location for us while attending a convention in downtown Denver. The flat was clean, well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. We could walk to the food store, bars and all of downtown Denver. We would definitely return and recommend Ed's place as a spot to stay while in Denver. Parking was a bit tight as in any downtown. The parking lot on the corner works well as we only used the car a couple of times. Larry

Ed's flat is a very nicely decorated accommodation in a wonderful location. Everything one could possibly need for a great stay is available in this flat including a hair dryer and hot curlers for the ladies! It is spotless. While there is no air conditioning, there are several fans which cool the spaces well. There is a Whole Foods nearby on 9th street and a more deluxe WF at Cherry Creek which is quite close. The parking opposite the Denver Museum of Art is just $4. One can walk to so much downtown from the flat including the 16th Street Mall, Larimer Square and the Capitol Hill area. I love to knit and I would highly recommend Lambe Shop on 12th and Madison. It's open from 9-9 M-Fri! Rioja on Larimer is a wonderful dining experience and is highly recommended. We also enjoyed the Ship's Tavern at the Brown Palace for a late lunch (served until 5 p.m.). Kate Mullen's is a great Irish pub on Court (walking distance from flat). Be sure to check out all of the neighborhoods of Denver- LoDo, Santa Fe Art District etc. Easy day trips from Denver to Estes Park, Colorado Springs and Boulder are recommended. Colorado Mills in Lakewood is a great shopping area for bargains at outlet prices. Overland Store on Larimer will ship your purchases WITHOUT sales tax for $5! I highly recommeded this location to travelers to Denver. I would definitely stay here again and also check out some of Ed's other properties in other locations. Thanks Ed!

Very comfortable accommodations.....super location. We were in Denver for a conference and walked to downtown every day. This condo is in the right spot for visiting. The Whole Foods Market was also very close. Great choices in the area for eating out also. We'll be back next year and hope the condo is open for those dates.

I visit Denver several times during the year....This is the second rental I rented from Ed.....perfect, perfect. I'll continue to contact you for availability for both of your rentals. On this visit I was by myself so I choose the Sherman St flat. Great location and great neighbors. Thanks again Ed.

Hi Ed, Just wanted to say I had a most pleasant stay on Sherman St. The residence was very comfortable and the perfect location to everything. Since I was on foot (or bus), I had ample time to explore Cheeseman Park, LoDo, Cherry Creek as well as much of The Hill. I would never have guessed that this city could be so charming and I look forward to returning. Also, could you tell me about that bed? Is it a Tempurpedic? I don't think I've ever slept in a more comfortable bed. Regards, Donovan

Outstanding rental in a great location--easy walk to museum, other downtown attractions. Condo itself has Victorian charm with modern convenience including high speed internet; nice modern kitchen. Spacious and comfortable for two. Would choose it again.
