Come vacation and relax in our Moorings Villa! We are located in Palmetto Dunes, which is a gated secure community. Our two bedroom, oceanside villa is located on the top floor of a very small complex. If you enjoy privacy, then our home is for you!
The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, full private bath, dressing area, cable TV and DVD/VCR. There are sliding doors which lead to a private deck overlooking the lagoon. The second bedroom boasts two full-size beds, a private bath, cable TV and DVD/VCR. Sliding doors lead to a second deck overlooking the lagoon.
Our spacious living room has access to both private decks. It is equipped with a sleeper sofa, cable TV, VCR, and DVD player. The kitchen is well-equipped. The dining area will seat six comfortably.
Once you leave our beautiful villa, it is a very short walk to the beach, pool, golf, tennis and restaurants. It is the perfect location for a family vacation. During peak season there is a complimentary shuttle service to take you to your favorite Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove locations.

What a great place for a relaxing vacation! The villa was very inviting, comfortable, and well equipped. The beach, pool, and tennis courts were only a short walk away. We especially enjoyed the daily tennis. The courts were well maintained and the staff members at the tennis club were very helpful and congenial. There are many terrific restaurants nearby including Alexander's, a restaurant that we had actually enjoyed a dinner at during our honeymoon in 1979. We really enjoyed our vacation at this beautiful and peaceful location.

We had a great time.The beach is only a short walk which is mostly shaded. Having stayed at the Moorings in the past this condo was rated at the top of our list. We had some questions and Mike was quick to respond. Would recommend this condo to our family and friends. Hope to return soon.

Relaxing Vacation at a Convenient Location

My husband and I stayed at this condo from March 21-25, 2011. The condo was just as described. It was clean and neat. (It is professionally cleaned between renters.) Since the photos were taken, there have been some updates with the bedding and all three televisions are new flat screens. The location was great for our needs. We were focused on playing tennis every morning and spending the remainder of the day at the beach (or by the pool). The free tennis was a nice bonus because it ordinarily costs $30 per hour. (On Monday evenings at 5 pm the pros play exhibition tennis with complimentary beer and wine for the audience. They even give away prizes.) Both the tennis complex and the beach were an easy walk or a short bike ride. The pool was even closer. Because we were so close to the beach, we returned to the condo each day to eat our lunch. Also, it is very close to The Dunes House (a restaurant right on the beach), that serves a lighter menu. (We recommend the fish tacos.) We had dinner there a few times, and they had live acoustic music on Wednesday (3-7pm). The owners were wonderful to work with, and they answered any questions we had. We especially liked the fact that they responded to our initial request promptly, and they were clear with how much the unit would cost to rent. (They did not try to complicate their communication with the mention of all sorts of fees and taxes - like many other owners did.) They were extremely fair in the pricing of their property. We would not hesitate to recommend this unit to our friends and relatives. We will be sure to book it again when we return to Hilton Head. We had a wonderful time.
