We rented this house for one week & it was just a lovely week that went by too fast . My wife & 12 yr. old daughter just had themselves a great time boating & swimming off of the dock & later grilling on the deck . Weather was great also . owner was very helpful & would consider a return visit. thank you

I rented this house with my group of friends and we absolutely loved it! Earl was very helpful and took care of any questions we had. Days were spent on the dock and on the boats that are provided. Nights were spent in the common room, the deck and the hot tub. The house was clean and everything worked. Look forward to making this a yearly tradition!

We rented the house for a small family reunion. Loved the house, the grounds and the lake. Owner was very responsive and addressed all our questions and concerns quickly. Also, he was able to accommodate our additional small requests which was very nice of him. Very pleasant and positive experience and we would come back any time.. possibly very soon. Thanks for having us.

eldred house

me and 10 of my friends decided to use the Eldred house to celberate and occasion for my best friends. the bedrooms were more than accomodating with sheets and comnfortable beds (even an extra cot). and the main area was extremely spacious. we found everything we needed in the kicthen from fridge freezer and stover and oven. and the area was veyr accomodating for eating and watching TV and relazing. the jacuzzi was superb and we spent a lot of teh weekend in the at 100 degrees while it was 25 degrees outside (no better feeling). the view is just magnificent and i plan on going back and using this home and his other homes again as a vacation spot.

The home is extremely comfortable and the location is gorgeous. Only 2 hours from NYC, and you can walk on the frozen lake in the winter! Everything you need in a vacation home: a helpful owner, beautiful setting, modern ammenities, hot tub, and plenty of room to unwind.

A BEAUTIFUL family getaway! For Christmas my family wanted to do something special and we could not be happier! The home has everything you need and the lake front views are spectacular. Also, the owner was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure my family had a great time. For families, friends or even an escape from the city, this is the perfect house to treat yourself to.

We had the most perfect stay at the Eldred Vacation Home. For starters, Earl, the owner, was so helpful in making our preparations and our stay just wonderful. The house was clean, spacious and gorgeous with huge windows and a beautiful view. We spent the weekend on the dock and fishing in the kayak and the paddle boat. The lake was very quiet and private with only a few other weekenders there. At night we relaxed in the hot tub and watched a movie, read magazines and played board games....relaxation! The house was easy to find and the grocery store in town had everything that we needed. The price was reasonable and I'm am so glad that we chose this house to spend the weekend together with our friends. We will definitly be returning next summer for hopefully a longer visit!
