This 100 year old, authentic, colonial home was just completely remodeled but kept true to Mexican architecture. The house is furnished with Traditional Mexican carved furniture with a sleepable couch, portable sleeping pad, and the Queen-size bed is new and comfortable. Walls are very thick to keep rooms cool and there is AC. This beauty has 16 foot high vaulted and beamed ceilings which accentuate the custom warm color scheme. A wrought iron door offers complete security in what is a safe neighborhood, where the ladies sit out in front of their homes in the afternoons.
Even though you feel like you are living in old Mexico, the house offers a modern kitchen, large closet and storage space, TV with cable outlet with plenty of electrical outlets, and ceiling fans throughout every room and huge floor fans. Also, there is a laundry area in the backyard with a washing machine and dryer.
The house is located on T. Azueta, a safe neighborhood, in the Colonial Zone , just four blocks from Plaza Machado which offers restaurants, music, theater, and art galleries. The beach is one half mile walk through the beautiful colonial section. The Freeman Hotel is just blocks away and it offers a roof pool and terrace where you can swim and order cool drinks.
The Central Market is just four blocks from your front door. For convenience, a bus line runs on the street with the Central bus line to take you to all of the beaches and Golden Zone. Food shopping is only one block away.
