The Seagrove Nook is located at 10 Joanna Dr Seagrove Beach FL 32459. This home is a lovely family retreat nestled between Point Washington State Park and the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. This rental includes both the first floor studio and the main house. The ground floor is a studio efficiency (wheel chair accessible) with a king size bed and full size murphy bed (pulls from the wall). There is a full kitchen, full bath and living and dining room with a desk top computer in this space.
The second level of the Seagrove Nook has a full kitchen so you can stay at home and cook, fresh fish from the market within walking distance or walk to 5 star restaurant Thirty A Cafe. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom, queen size bed in one room upstairs and 2 queens in the other room upstairs. There is a full size futon in the living room which can be used as a bed.
There are wonderful hiking/biking trails (Washington State Park) near by and a five-minute walk to the beach (under 300 yards). The Seagrove Nook has an Ocean view from the widows peak which is also great for private sunset views. It is a ten minute bike ride to Seaside which has weekend movies and theater in the summers as well as unique shops and fun activities for the day. Rosemary Beach is down the road with all kinds or arts, shops, restaurants and activities. Both Grayton Beach and Water Color have beautiful nature trails for walking/jogging and biking. The natural coastal lakes, which are unique to this area, is the place to take your canoe for a great outing to see the gulf sunset view.
The Seagrove Nook is centrally located between Destin and Panama City attractions!!! Seagrove Beach is very relaxing and within walking or bike riding distance to food, shopping and entertainment.
If you like the natural private type landscape that is convenient to restaurants and shopping this is a home you will want to bring your family back to year after year.

my family and i were here for a family wedding.there are several pros and cons about this property. Pros: location!location!location!this property is located in a great area.There is a golf cart for traveling back and forth to the beach (needs tag for road).Everyone wanted to know where we got the cart and who we rented through.The private,natural setting for the pool was wonderful. We would spend the day at the beach and then come back and have our own secluded pool.The decks were great and used daily with a lot of outside furniture.Cons:for a house this size there was not enough cooking utensils or pots and pans.The downstairs apartment had no supplies.The air condition on the main level was sufficient but upstairs could get uncomfortable and hard to sleep in.There was only one refrigerator on the main level that worked. The extra refrigerator in the laundry room did not work.The gas grill provided was broken in the gas line and unuseable. The charcoal grill advertised was more like a hibachi and not big enough to feed all of the guests.This would be a perfect place to revisit if these issues could be resolved. As is, I would not recommend this rental. The owner did not respond to the rental company upon check in of my family and the check in was not as scheduled and was a added stress my family did not need that day.
Owner response:Thank you for your stay. If I don't get feed back on the issues that need addressed then I have no way of knowing that they exsist. I also live in GA and only get to the house about 1 time a year. The managment company should be addressing these issues but if they are not then I do need to know. I will make sure that we address these concerns. As far as the check in, I did speak with the managment company and they said they had handled everything. It was a blunder on their part and double booked 1 day. This was nothing that I could have know about in advanced and I am very sorry that it was an inconvenience. I am really glad that you did have enjoyable stay and enjoyed the location and attmosphere of the house. Please try us again as I do like to give repeat visiters a discount.

This was the perfect home for our family to stay in. We went with my sister and her family and everyone had their own space to stretch out. I LOVED the master bath. Everyone used it and the kids loved to all hop in the huge tub together. The walk to the beach was so short and perfect to get a little bit of exercise and the pool was perfectly shaded in the late afternoon (after all of our skin was done with the sun).
