Walt Whitman's "When I Peruse the Conquered Fame" celebrates the beauty and value in true lifelong love and emphasizes keeping perspective in life. The hustle and bustle of today's world can often make it challenging to do this. Every once in a while, we need to step away from all the pressures and all the burdens on our road towards success, and, at least temporarily, conquer fame and regain life's balance...
Come escape to a paradise where a relaxed pace and peaceful days are the norm. Come, regain perspective as you read a book by the sea, lay on the beach, or watch the sunset over the water's waves. Come and spend some time at Conquered Fame.
This newly-renovated, fully-furnished four bedroom, two bath home easily sleeps at least eight and is perfect for multiple couples, a large family, or two families vacationing together. Guests staying in the two master bedrooms (one king bed and one queen bed) will awaken to gorgeous views over the turquoise Caribbean water. Two additional bedrooms, one with a double bed and a twin bed and the other with two twin beds, are perfect for the kids or other guests. The full-kitchen and living room share vaulted ceilings and provide all of the conveniences of home, including a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, cooking utensils, cable TV, and DVD player (and a washer and dryer in a separate room). The house also has a phone for local calls and high speed internet access. The sunroom, containing the dining area and a separate reading area, enjoys panoramic views over the ocean and your own private beach. To keep things comfortable the house is cooled with central air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room. Completing the island escape, each room is painted in bright Caribbean colors and furnished to match. The grounds feature a large multi-level deck and a grilling patio with a built-in charcoal grill, perfect for a relaxing dinner with family.
The house sits on over half an acre of land in the peaceful Rum Point area of Cayman Kai where white sand extends to a crystal clear soft? sea. Located away from the crowded and touristy Seven-mile beach area, yet within walking distance of excellent beachfront restaurants and bars, you'll be able to enjoy a relaxed barbeque on your own beach or a nice meal out with locals.
Either in your own "backyard" or a short-drive away, you will be able to enjoy all of the islands best activities including snorkeling, diving, sunbathing, water-skiing, jet skiing, waverunning, boating, fishing, biking, cruises to Sting Ray City and Seven mile beach, reading, relaxing, and of course lazy naps on the beach.
Come to Conquered Fame and escape to a peaceful and relaxed island existence...
Comment from a recent guest:
"We have now made it home from Conquered Fame, and of course, we are missing it, and all of Grand Cayman already. Your home worked our for our families, perfect in every way. We enjoyed the location, the beach, the water, and all the amenities of the house. We found no better snorkeling on the island than right out the back door, and no more beautiful scenery for pictures, than right off the back deck. Spending our last few hours gazing over the ocean, towards the reef really captured our hearts, and made a lasting impression on all of us. We truly fell in love with the island. Thanks for opening your home for us, and sharing such a wonderful spot.
Please feel free to use us for any rental inquiries you have, we would be happy to share our experiences with others!" ~ John Bouregy, July 26, 2010

Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2005
The first time we set foot on Grand Cayman, we fell in love with the place. We kept coming back so often, we decided we had to make our vacation destination Cayman Kai every year and so we found the perfect house on the water. We have 4 children and live in Richmond, VA, but come back to the Cayman's at least twice per year. Our Cayman home away from home has become my family's and my sisters' family's place to spend the holidays and escape the mid-winter blues.
Why the Owner Chose Cayman Kai
We chose Cayman Kai and the area around Rum Point because of its quiet peacefulness. It is worlds away from the busy tourist areas around 7 mile beach and the cruise ship ports. The properties in the area are all single family houses and there are no big resorts which keeps everything nice and relaxed. Being within walking distance to Rum Point allows us to spend time on both the lagoon beach at Rum Point as well as the ocean beach at our house. In addition, with the beach bar and restaurant at Rum Point, if we don't feel like cooking we can just walk over there and grab a bite to eat.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
While at the house, we enjoy all the comforts of home. We cook most of our meals either in the kitchen or grill up steak and chicken in the outdoor barbecue pit. With the washer and dryer we can keep all the kids in clean clothes and not have to bring back suitcases full of laundry. Because the beach is right off the back deck, we can enjoy relaxing in the chairs while our children play on the sand and in the water.

My family of 6 (kids ages 8 thru 19) stayed in this charming beach home over New Years. The very comfortable home is beautifully decorated in cheerful colors and comes with everything needed. We spent many days at Rum Point beach, a short distance from the house beacause it has wonderful food (and even better drinks) and activities for all ages. The owners of the home were very pleasant and helpful in planning our family trip. I highly recommend vacationing at Conquered fame

What a place to relax and enjoy the Carribean. My husband Joe and I went with another couple in December. We were looking for a low key quiet vacation and we found it at Conquered Fame. The snorkeling was great and the weather perfect. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. I can see it would also be a great place for family vacations. The house is roomy and the beach is right outside. It was a great stay.

T.J., Yes, we really loved staying at your lovely home. It was just what we were hoping for. The children enjoyed having a home on the beach for 2 weeks, and never had a shortage of things to do, from snorkeling, flying kites, digging up conch shells on the beach, or inspecting the wildlife in the tidal pools. They named the lizards living under the deck, and built a shelter, complete with a “flag” in the backyard with old palm leaves. We all enjoyed the Rum Point and Kaibo area, as well as a trip to the botanic garden, turtle farm, and a boat charter. Mostly, though, we enjoyed just spending time at the house. By the end of 2 weeks, we felt like locals, cooking up all kinds of new things, and visiting the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning. No one wanted to go home. The bedroom lay-out worked out well for our family, giving everyone a bed, as well as some space for my husband and myself to relax in after the kids were asleep. (no one camped out in the living room) I have already recommended your home to another family who was interested in learning more about our awesome vacation! Thanks so much for the opportunity.

We loved this house and plan on returning next year. The house is perfect for families, high chair and pack 'n' play available, lots of games and books. We had fresh coconut water every day from the trees around the house (if you do not know how to chop a coconut, the landscaping crew will be more than happy to do that for you). Quiet area of the island, a nice relaxing get away. We can not wait to return.

Our family wanted a warm Christmas instead of Northern Minnesota snow/cold one year, and we found a wonderful time in the Rum Point area at Conquered Fame. The best snorkeling we found was right in front of the house. The organization of keys/reservation was well done, no frustration at all. It is about a 45 minute drive from the airport and 30 minutes from a large grocery store, but you can get a lot of experience driving on the left side!!!! Good restaurants in the area, a small convenience store , post office, very friendly people and we felt very safe walking. The hustle/bustle is definitely in Georgetown/7 mile beach, but wow is it busy, not our style, so where we were was absolutely perfect. We liked the relaxation of the area, and if we wanted the night life/busy shopping etc, we could drive there, experience it and then retreat back to our solitude and beauty Conquered Fame had to offer.

Great place to really enjoy Grand Cayman and Rum Point. We (four adults and two children) wanted to stay some place other than on Seven Mile Beach. We found this wonderful property and from the minute we drove up, we knew that we had made the right choice. Yes, George Town is 30 mins. away, but you'll see so much of the island that you would never see otherwise. The East End is a short drive away and of course Rum Point is even closer. The sandy beach is your "back yard" and the snorkeling is there 24/7. You should really consider this property for your next Grand Cayman adventure.

Truly paradise! With 8 adults sharing the house, we were comfortable, relaxed, and had every convenience we could ask for. Without a doubt, the location is the best on the island with beach side access to the tidal pool just out the back door, Rum Point just down the road, and quick drives to many fine dining establishments (Cayman style!). Our favorite activities were snorkeling, eating, snorkeling, enjoying cocktails, snorkeling, Red Sail cruises, snorkeling, touring and snorkeling. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise. Loved it!

T. J.,Thank you so much for making our annual family vacation and first visit to Grand Cayman a WONDERFUL experience! Your rental home was FANTASTIC! The setup was perfect for our family and the location worked out wonderfully since the extended family members we were traveling with stayed right next to Kaibo yacht club giving us both waves/diving and beach/calm waters! The house provided all the essentials and comforts to make my family feel relaxed from the first day and we quickly realized we could roll out of bed, take a few steps onto your beach, and snorkel just another few yards to see stingrays, lobsters, and all sorts of amazing fish in crystal blue water! The advice and information you provided was also an excellent touch and I can’t thank you enough! We had a great time and I appreciate it tremendously! My wife has already informed me that we will be returning in the future and I will definitely keep your contact information!Thank you!Regards…Michaeldavid
