  We went to PVR for 2 weeks over March break and Easter week. Stayed at this property the first week and at a resort the second week. We should have just stayed at this place as it was much nicer. Huge place, with immaculate gardens and pool. Nice and quiet too. Staff was great and our greater met us at the gate. Can't get better service than that. A couple of bikes would be a great addition and a magnetic key for the side gate would be super. Not that it is far, but it is an extra 5 minute walk to the Mall without the toggle. Owners are trustworthy and obviously worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. Would recommend. Great value. Thanks again. Peter, Calgary

  Do not hesitate to rent this property,incredible for space, very clean and easy checkin. We also liked how quiet it was compared to staying in paradise village hotel. Owners are very responsive to all your questions.

  We enjoyed our time in this unit. The owners and their representatives were very friendly and informative. The unit is just as listed------ very spacious and well appointed. It is situated so near the hot-tub and pool, which faces the Marina and is lovely and quiet. Having the Shopping Centre, with grocery store, shops and restaurants within steps is a plus! Some very good restaurants are a shot cab ride away. We like Ginger's { Thai food}, Potabello {italian} and we especially like Por Que 'No {mixed}.

  My family and I just returned (March 9) from 2 weeks in Dick & Pam Lanahan's beautiful villa. We found the property to surpass the listing description, and in fact, was even more beautiful than the photos portrayed. The property was clean and well-maintained upon our entry, and one minor short-coming was promptly and professionally addressed. The villa was fully-equipted for whatever you needed. My grandson was delighted to discover plastic shovels and pails in a closet, for digging at the beach. There was everything required to cook a formal meal, which we did several times. If you have kids, being next door to the mall allows for quick access to a taste of home (McDonalds, Dominos, Subway, Baskin-Robbins). We found the villa to be ideal for our purposes. With 5 adults and an active 2 year old, 2 floors, 3 bedrooms with huge closets, balconies, and each with their own full bath, meant everyone could find a peaceful spot, when needed. The theme nights at the hotel restaurants were to die for. We took advantage of several tours (Jungle Canal tours, Zip Line excursion, deep sea fishing, and lots and lots of shopping), and found that both taxis and buses provided safe, efficient, and cheap transportation downtown. I'm sure there are other beautiful villas in the complex, but what sets 5106 apart is Dick's knowledge, advice, helpful suggestions, and the wonderful team on the ground (Thanks so much, Nelida and Ralph!!). From a list of excellent nearby restaurants, to being accessable at needed times, the assistance was great and always, always accurate. Attention to detail was the best we have encountered anywhere, and we have travelled to many countries. We always felt safe, and would encourage anyone who thinks Mexico as being dangerous, to consider Grand Marina Villas. WE WILL BE BACK!! Thanks again.

  Our family enjoyed the very spacious Villa very much. Lots of room. Pool area is very clean and attractive. So convenient to run over to mall for groceries or a quick meal. Would be nice to have key to side gate though. Many nights we had our relatives over for dinner who were staying at Paradise Village. Plenty of space for the 17 of us for dinner! Beach is nice with warm water! Lots of restaurants within walking distance. We rode bus to town. Fun to walk around in downtown PV, too. Really enjoyed staying in the Villa. It has all the comforts on home! Relator and owners are easy to work with. Highly recommend Grand Marina Villas!

  My sons and I spent a wonderful week here. Every representation was true. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The washer and dryer was wonderful to have in the unit. We had access to the Plaza Royale beach, the mall and many wonderful restaurants. All of the staff were extremely helpful and professional. The pool was an outstanding place to spend some time in the sun or paddle around in after the sun set. I have visited PV 6 times and this was by far the best visit, because of the accommodations.

  * Was the listing description accurate regarding the location? The location is great. It is right next door to a mall with many small shops, restaurants, a supermarket and pharmacy and the like. McDonald's, Subway, Starbucks and Baskin-Robbins are all next door. It is in a gated community and the guard was always very helpful. You can walk to dozens of nearby hotels, resorts and other condos and villas. It is a short cab ride to many restaurants and of course many are within walking distance. * Did the listing photos accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities? The photos helped us know exactly what we were getting. This is a 2 story villa, not a condo. The balcony overlooks the pool and marina. The beach amenity for the villa is about a 5 - 10 minute walk away. * Was the property clean and well-maintained? The property and Villa are well maintained. The property had maintenance folks outside every day sweeping, cleaning and trimming the gardens. The villa itself is comparable to a Holiday Inn, not a Marriott or Hilton. For our family of 6, it was fine and we enjoyed. The Internet in the villa was a big hit, enjoyed by our family in the unit and at the pool. The pool is nice and clean, and no matter what time we got down, there were always chairs and chaise lounges to be had. Same at the beach club pool and beach - never an issue getting 6 chairs, anytime. * Was the owner helpful in answering your questions or concerns? The owner was in general a delight. Always quick to respond via e-mail with hints, tips and responses to questions. * Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative? Yes, we would recommend the property to friends.

  We rented the condo April 10-17, 2010. Our son got married at Paradise Village and the rest of our children and spouses stayed in the condo, 7 of us. It was absolutely beauitful! The rooms are so huge and beautifully decorated. We appreciate all the information that was give to us before our arrival, it made everything go so smooth. We have stayed at quite a few condo's, as we have a time share, but this by far was the nicest! We would love to go back again!

  We visited in February 2011 for three fabulous weeks and the price was really right for two couples and Mom. Each bedroom is well appointed with its own private bathroom. The spacious villa is perfect for a family or three couples. The large kitchen was a big plus for many eat-in evenings. The owners made sure we had a weekly cleaning and that was a bonus, as was the Wi-Fi connection. One of us was online nearly every day. We have been coming to Nuevo for nearly 20 years and we really enjoyed this villa the most. If I had one complaint, it would be that the sofas in the living room were not very comfortable. We also had to buy a sharp knife for food prep, too. We rented a car, but it really isn't necessary at this location. There are many very nice restaurant choices in Nuevo near the Grand Marina and a taxi is easy to take anywhere. We recommend the tortilla soup at Ernestos in Jarrecaderas. It is the best we've ever had. Also in the same area is a new restaurant what will prepare your fresh catch with all the fixings just the way you like it.

  Went with our entire family...rented 2 villas in Dec. 2009. Absolutely wonderful....nothing bad to say. Accomodations comfortable, pleasant and lovely. Pools are great. Proximity to the mall is a plus. Enjoyed everything.

  Wow, what a gorgeous Villa. We had a great time. The villa was very clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed cooking out by the pool. All of the amenities were within walking distance. Also, felt very safe. Enjoyed being able to shop at the market next door, very convenient. Thanks again.

  The Lanahan VILLA EXCEEDED our expectations. It is everything & more then described on VRBO website. VERY large condo, beautiful grounds & pool, VERY private living next to 5 star Paradise Resort within easy walking distance. Very safe for kids, convenient shopping & grocery next door. All staff at at Villa, Paradise, and everyone downtown was very, very friendly. If you like golf, tennis & world class fitness & spa, get EL TIGRE package....WOW!! I highly recommend Dick's Villa!!   The villa was just as shown in the website. We really enjoyed the entire resort area. We were familar the area, the location to the mall and pools makes it easy when you have small children. The bus rides to town are the best way to get around. Our two families were very comfortable in the condo. The owners have succeeded in making the villa a home to guest. Thank you!!!!!

  This was our best time ever at Paradise Village. We are timeshare members at Paradise Village but we needed more room for my in-laws and this is why we rented this beautiful villa. Wow! beautiful, comfortable and with nice views of the garden, pool and marina. What more do you want or need? I felt truly in paradise when sitting outside on the balcony drinking my morning coffee in peace and serenity. We will certantly recommend this villa.

  My family and I just got back from our vacation in Nuevo Vallarta - we had one of the best vacations ever! The house was beautiful and very spacious. The complex, including the two pools were very clean. We loved the location of the house, right next to a pool, and a short walk from the beach and hotel pool. I would definately recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful family vacation!

  Yet another wonderful stay in paradise. This is our second vacation in this beautiful villa and we are more pleased than we were the first time.   This is our 4th time to Paradise Village, and by far the best accommodations we've had yet. We visited with our two children and my parents. The villa was perfectly suited to us and our family.   We shared Dick and Pam's beautiful Villa with two other couples (close friends) from Minneapolis and Houston. The Villa is beautifully decorated, very spacious and has all the amenities. Very conducive as a place to reunite with good friends in a 5-star resort atmosphere. The spacious patio/deck and main living/kitchen area were wonderful for congregating and talking about old times. Definitely a keeper and one we would strongly consider going back to.

  We just had a wonderful stay in Villa #5106 with our 3 children. We had stayed in the hotel previously and were very surprised by how luxurious the villa was. The kitchen is huge and beautifully finished. The bedrooms are large and each has its own bath. The master bedroom and bath are beautiful. In addition the location was ideal - a 5 minute walk to the hotel and beach, directly across from the mall through the security gate and facing the villa pool. The internet access was a nice plus I used often. I will definitely consider staying at villa #5106 again. In fact, I thought twice about posting my review because I sort of want to keep this one to myself!

  We enjoyed a wonderful week in Dick and Pam's magnificent villa. Close to everything including shopping, restaurants, beaches, and the resort. The villa is spacious, airy, and very comfortablbe. It can easily accomodate a large family without feeling cramped. We felt very safe letting our teenagers go on their own in the gated community. Those who like golf and fitness buffs can utilize the first class Tiger Club facilities within the resort. Would definitely recommend this villa.

  WOW....What a truly nice Villa. Our family has nicknamed it the "Taj Mahal". We're timeshare owners at Paradise Village (10 Yrs) but needed more space for our in-laws. Everything you could possibly need is there. A large pool right outside the balcony. Use of the resort. We'd definetly consider a return visit.   Our stay at the villa was great. We had 6-8 people at various times and all were suitably accomodated. We had no problems whatsover with leakage or the AC system. The people in the complex were great and the villa is close to all things that are needed. This villa is wonderful for larger groups and we would not hesitate to rent again.

  We loved Paradise Village so much that we bought a timeshare there. This was my first experience with VRBO and I was a little nervous but all that evaporated once we arrived. The villa was absolutely spectacular. The pool in the backyard felt like a private pool. The sailboats and yachts in the marina made us feel very elite as we looked out over the balcony on the master bedroom. The beach, pool and amenities of Paradise Village resort were just a 5 minute walk away. I am so grateful that the Lanahans are willing to share their little piece of paradise with us. Sign me up as a very positive reference for Dick and Pam, Grand Marina Villas, Paradise Village Resort and Neuvo Vallarta.

  Our group of 6 felt completely pampered during our two week stay in this luxerious villa. The bedrooms are large, and with full bathrooms, offer spacious privacy. The kitchen is huge and is equipped to meet every need. We enjoyed many evenings on the large balconies. We have stayed at the Paradise Village many times before and love the area. This villa offers the best of two worlds...it is within steps of the beach, restaurants, grocery store, bus, shopping plaza, and night life, yet is securely located within a gated community that is quiet and tranquill. This villa is perfect for large families or 3-4 couples travelling together. Mr.& Mrs. Lanahan made this a very enjoyable rental experience and we will give them first consideration when we return to PV.

  Our family, a mix of adults and young children, had the pleasure of spending ten carefree, relaxing days in Grand Marina Villa 5106. We all found the villa to be beautiful and well equipped, with enough space for each of us to “spread out”. The setting is picture postcard perfect! Staying in the Villa affords guests the best of both worlds – one can enjoy the large Paradise Village Resort, with its endless facilities, pools and palapa- lined beach, or just luxuriate in the solitude of the Villa’s own uncrowded pools and Jacuzzi. We found the option of joining the Social Club with its state of the art Sports Center to be a real bonus – the kids’ center was a favorite for the little ones and the workout center/lap pool was a draw for adults. The owners and manager of Villa 5106 are totally engaging and helpful, attending to every detail before and after our arrival. In summary, we would highly recommend this rental as a great vacation choice, and one to which we plan to return.

  Thank you so much Richard and Pam for your wonderful villa. The house is big, there was 8 of us (parents, 2 kids, 3 grand-parents, 1 uncle) and we never felt like we were crowded. The location of the villa is also PERFECT. It's a short walk to everything (the shopping mall, the main hotel, the beach). We loved the fact that the villa was in a more quiet location (vs. the main hotel where all the activities, music take place), as we would much rather walk a few minutes to where the action is (along with all the noise) then to have it right next to us the entire stay. The pool at the villa was almost always empty, another great benefit. We took a membership to the sports club and really enjoyed going there for the kid's club and the tennis courts. A couple of us also used the new and hi-tech work-out equipment. The nice added benefit of the membership was to have access to the Playa Royal beach that had very few people. All in all, we are definitly planning on going back! I just wish it could be sooner rather than later. Thanks again, the villa is really beautiful and well furnished!

  The best of 2 worlds is absolutely an accurate description of this villa. Located within a gated community in the Paradise Village Beach & Spa Resort, this reasonably priced villa has a very large kitchen with all the modern conveniences of home and including a washer & dryer. There are 3 oversized bedrooms with their own private baths, and 2 covered decks that overlook a large private pool and the marina. We were less than 2 blocks from a shopping plaza which includes quaint boutiques, many fine restaurants, a grocery store and an Internet cafe'. A short 5 minute walk away are the beautiful pools and beaches where you can enjoy a variety of daily activities and theme dining experiences. This was the perfect week for my daughter and I to just relax and have a good time. The owners and local rep were very helpful and supplied us with information regarding this fabulous resort villa prior to our vacation. It was a wonderful week for us and I can hardly wait to come back again. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful villa to all my family and friends, and to anyone interested in having a relaxing, care-free vacation. Cathyann & Meagan Hoye

  A relaxing vacation with family and or friends is exactly what you will find at the Marina Villa in Nuevo Vallarta. The Lanahan's villa privides excellent accomidations for a laid back relaxing vacation or a base for your choice of numerous activities mentioned on the web page. Details of the villa are as discribed with ample pictures which provide excellent insight for the location. The convience of Paradise Village offers many aminities within a short walk, including a number of restaurants, swimming pools, grocery store, and a wonderful ocean beach. You can make your dream vacation come true. I believe you will be back the following year as one week is not enough time to enjoy all the benefits of this woundeful location.

  If your looking for privacy, flexiblity, security and convience, then this is the place for you. Located in a gated community next door to an air conditioned mall and only a short walk to the ocean this is truly an ideal vaction spot. The villa was extremely clean and spacious with larger than expected bedrooms and two covered decks that overlook the private pool and marina. The owners and rep were wonderful to work with. I will definately be coming back and I highly recommend this beautiful villa.

  My family and I spent 8 days in the Marina Villa and we all had a magnificent time. This vacation Villa is conveniently located right next to the Marina and a couple of blocks from the beach. The great thing about staying at the Villa is that you get to use the Paradise Village resort amenities and restaurants, you get the best of both worlds. The Villa has its own huge un-crowded pool/Jacuzzi were you can relax and enjoy the beautiful landscaping. If you have kids they can easily walk to Paradise Village and use there pool which has a huge slide and under water caves. If the kids get hungry they can charge it to the room no need to give them cash. This Villa is also located in Nuevo Vallarta in a very secure neighborhood, security gates all over the place. I am most definitely retuning next year, if you have stayed at 5 star resorts and won’t settle for less this is the place to stay in PVR.

  My self and my family had a great time at the Marina Villa. This 3 bedroom 3 1/2 bathroom Luxurious property has everything you could possibly need for your vacation. It's locate very conveniently close to the beach and restaurants in a very secure area in Nuevo Vallarta. You can relax by day next to the un-crowded pool and go out at night for a walk to PVR Malecon just minutes a way. The landscaping is magnificent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this vacation property, I’m most definitely coming back next year.

  Our family of five stayed a week in this spectacular villa. It was so relaxing to have two balconies overlooking the pool surrounded by flowering bushes, plenty of comfortable seating, a spacious kitchen, and washer and dryer. We loved being close to the beach, the plaza (for groceries and necessities), and to the Paradise Village Resort, and yet we enjoyed our own peaceful privacy from the crowd. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. No doubt in our minds, we would love to return to this "piece of paradise".

  My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this villa. We've stayed in several resorts/rentals in Mexico and this one is definitely one of the best.It's absolutely beautiful and completely comfortable for a family with small children.Unlike the pool at the resort, the condo pool was uncrowded and very relaxing. We could let the children play without any worries. It's located right next to the plaza which is great if you're looking for convenience. There was a very short walk through the resort to get to the beach which made it easy to enjoy every day. I was concerned after reading some unfavorable comments regarding Paradise Village and the staff but nothing could have been further from the truth. The staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything needed. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation. I know we'll be returning the next time we visit Puerto Vallarta!

  This unit has all you need and more. It definitely made my first visit to Nuevo Vallarta a lot more enjoyable. The place is very spacious, all new appliances, very clean. The living room balcony overlooks the swimming pool. Master bedroom also has it's own balcony. The calm & restful beach is only steps away. Everything is conveniently located and within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Working with the owner and manager of the unit was also a very pleasant experience. Definitely like paradise there.
