**** THE PERFECT PLACE FOR YOUR FAMILY SKI VACATION ****
Stay at your own private, luxurious two-level townhouse in the small, upscale 36-unit Tamarack Townhouse property. Located just across the street from the new Base Village and Treehouse Kid's Adventure Center, approximately 200 yard walk to Village Express high-speed chairlift and Sky Cab gondola. It's easy to ski down for lunch, and then head back out to the slopes. Two large private outdoor hot tubs and a heated outdoor pool are in the center of the Tamarack complex and they are for the exclusive use of the Tamarack owners and guests.
RECENT UPGRADES AND IMPROVEMENTS:
For the 2010-11 season, we installed all new stainless kitchen appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave) and added granite slab countertops with new sinks, in the kitchen and both bathrooms.
In 2009-10, we replaced all of our televisions and installed a 40" Sony LCD HDTV , connected to a DVD player, above the fireplace in living room. So after a fabulous day on the slopes, you can cook dinner in a beautiful new kitchen, relax and watch your favorite DVD in front of the fire! We also have a password-protected WiFi network, so you can surf the internet from anywhere in the unit (or on the front deck).
Our unit, Tamarack #5, has been completely renovated "down to the studs". The kitchen is fully-equipped with stainless steel cookware and cutlery. An in-unit full size front-loading washer/dryer set and a high-efficiency forced air furnace with central humidifier add further to your comfort. We are the actual property owners -- not a property management company -- and we keep our townhouse in excellent condition. We love this place and are constantly upgrading and improving the amentities.
FLOORPLAN AND BEDROOM SETUP:
The kitchen and living room are on the main level, and the bedrooms are upstairs. The master suite is large and has a Simmons Beautyrest king-size bed, a gas fireplace, a 32" LCD HDTV and a private bathroom. The second bedroom is smaller and has 2 Simmons Beautyrest extra-long twin beds, a 19" LCD TV/DVD combo and a view of the slopes.
No smoking permitted, no pets allowed.

Why the Owner Chose Snowmass Village
We chose to purchase Tamarack #5, because it was the perfect size in the perfect location. It is two story townhouse in a small 36 unit complex, located directly across the street from the new Base Village at Snowmass, Ski School and Treehouse Kid's Adventure Center. A short 200 yard walk gets you to the Snowmass ski lifts, and you are able to ski down within 100 yards when you come home for lunch or at the end of the day. Although skiing at Snowmass is our favorite, your lift ticket is also valid at the 3 other local mountains (Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk), which are all an easy, free bus ride away.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our unit is very much like a small single-family home, with a separate private entry and ski locker. In addition, the living space does not share any walls with other units and there are no upstairs or downstairs neighbors to disturb your tranquility. The 2 giant hot tubs and large heated outdoor pool were completely redone in 2008, and are exclusively for the use of the Tamarack owners and guests.

We have rented this unit three times now and have always been pleased. We love the recent upgrades including new appliances and countertops as well as flat screen TVs. It is hard to find units with washer/dryer, which are a must for us when skiing. As a bonus, this unit comes stocked with laundry detergent and some kitchen essentials that you hate to have to buy for a short trip, like spices. Our boys, 12 and 15, appreciate the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom because they don't like to share a bed. We like to have a car because we go into Aspen a lot, but you could easily manage without one in this location, it is so close to the base and the bus stop. Most importantly, the rate is fair and the owners are a pleasure. There are fancier units and better locations, but for the price this unit is an excellent value.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

Very nice condo with great location close to the village mall, transportation center and base village. Owners were very helpful and accommodating. Photos are accurate. Wouldn't hesitate to return to this unit again.

We stayed in this super clean (even my Mom approved!), cozy unit which was right next to the shuttle bus stop and had a lovely time. It was well-appointed, well-laid out and the maintenance people were very helpful. The teenage girls took the master bedroom with the fireplace. The slope was a short walk away, very easy access. We will definitely be back next year, since we love Snowmass so much.

We go nearly every February to Snowmass for a conference my husband attends - last year we decided to rent and stayed in Tamarack #5 - it was great. We have a five year old and it was easy for me to get her to ski school everyday. We are going back next February. Highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

Great condo for family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Wonderful location, we came to condo for lunch when skiing. Owners very nice and give lots of helpful info for first timers. The entire transaction was very organized. Would rent again without hesitation!

Tamarack 5 is the best value in Snowmass. The condo is updated, immaculate, comfortable, and well-appointed. The walk to the base is short and easy for our two kids, ages 9 and 12. This was the first time we didn't feel we overpaid for a dumpy unit in Snowmass. We plan to book Tamarack 5 again.

We've been enjoying Snowmass since the 1970s. It's a great place for a family ski vacation with an excellent ski school for the kids (ours are now grown but still love to visit) and plenty of trails for all levels of skiers. It also makes a great base of operations for summer trips. We almost always stay at Tamarack. Tamarack 5 has become our favorite of that group. Its location is convenient to the shuttles and it is on the quiet side of the Tamarack grouping. It's well-appointed, clean, and a nicely sized unit for a group of 4. John and Katherine are easy to work with and dependable hosts.

Tamarack 5 is beautifully furnished, conveniently located, and reasonably priced. The owners are very easy to deal with. We have been coming to Snowmass for years, and whenever possible, we always try to stay at Tamarack 5.
