We call this house 'The Game Room House' because it has a Pool Table, Juke Box, Four Full-Sized Video Arcade Games, An Air Hockey Table, A Dart Board and also Two Roaring Fireplaces. And when you are done playing and the kids go to bed, you can relax in the Whirlpool Jaccuzzi.
This home is located in a four-star, gated community called 'The Hideout' which offers a Ski Hill with Two Lifts, Lake Access to Three Lakes with beaches. Two pools, tennis courts (indoor and outdoor), bocce ball, a Nine-Hole Golf Course, right on the grounds, a clubhouse, and an arts and crafts center. It also has basketball courts, softball fields, parks, a fitness center, etc. all within the gates of this beautiful community.
This house is a 2 minute drive to Skiing and Snow tubing.
It is only a ten-minute drive to Lake Wallenpaupack, a half-hour hour drive to two major ski areas, and only a five minute drive to an up close and personal Zoo, 'Claws and Paws'. However, we offer you so much in the house itself, you probably will not want to leave. Sheets are provided, towels are not.

Myself and 5 of my friends rented this house. It is clean, comfortable, and has plenty to do. You never have to leave the house. I reccomend this house as a vacation getaway.

House was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Owners are great to deal with, very accomodating. We had Grandma,.Grandpa three adult chidlren and spouses and 5 grandkids, plenty of room. The hottub was fun and the arcade games speak for themselves. We had some minor electrical issues, but could happen anywhere, most likely unreported to owner from last guest. Not as secluded as would seem from picture, but neighbors friendly, and not an issue for us, but we were quiet family group, could see couples with no kids, feeling compelled to go in early. Plenty to do in area, and definelty looking forward to going back in winter to go tubing.

We spent a week at this house during midwinter break Feb 21-24 2011 to celebrate my daughter's 16th Birthday with the family and had an amazing time. We had planned to go skiing to one of the ski resorts near by but the hideout had a wonderful ski hill with snow tubing, snow boarding and skiing. Some of us even walked home from the ski hill it was so close. Everyone had a great time. The house exceeded my expectations there was so much to do, the downstairs gameroom was a hit with something for everyone to do! Everything was clean, comfortable, warm and spacious. A group of deer came by to visit us one afternoon, they were beatiful;-) I will definitely be considering renting this house again in the future.

We spent a weekend at this great place in March 2010, expecting snow, but it was unusually mild. It was wonderful! So much to do, loved the downstairs and all the games! Everything was clean, and spacious.Huge table to sit at was also a plus for everyone to play games and sit together. Loved the deer that visited us there, and the fire pit at night was great. Walking ditance to the lake, which looked like it would be a ton of fun in the summer. Best of all the owners were great to work with, and easy to get a hold of if any issues arose. I will definitely be going back again with the kids, since we had such a nice time there without them! :) We played all weekend long!

We spent a wonderful weekend for my boyfriends birthday with a few of our friends at this house. We had a WONDERFUL time and everything went smooth and as planned. We had a family of deer right at the front porch almost the whole weekend and for some of our friends that have never left the city that was a huge enjoyment. Firepit was amazing, so was the game room and the hottub. The house was very spacious, clean and welcoming. In planning further getaways, we definitely will keep this place in mind.

We rented this home for my handicapped sister's 25th birthday in April '09, and we had a blast! It was such a memorable weekend. The hot tub was great. The deer came right up to the driveway when you fed them apples. The pool table, jukebox and video games got a lot of use that weekend. We had people in our family ranging from 1 to 60 years old, and everyone really enjoyed themselves. We were so busy at the house that we didn't even try to use any of the amenities, which we'd heard good things about. There was a lot of room for all 15 people who stayed over-everyone had a bed and there was still plenty of room to spare. We hung out on the deck a lot to watch the deer too! I can't even imagine what it's like in the summertime with all of the other activities--lakes/beaches, pool, canoes, etc. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

We had 16 people and the vacation home fitted us no problem. The property was clean and well- maintained. There were many things to do inside the vacation home and we were never bored during our stay. The owner is very patience and nice to deal with. He returned our calls/questions quickly and is very responsible. The vacation home is 30 minutes drive to a major skiing resort. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

We had a great time at "the game room". The owners John & Scott were very nice and answered all our question and solved all our problems quickly. The house was immaculate. The game room was a hit with the adults & children. The hideout had a great beach & pool that we loved. Overall a wonderful week for us all.

The house was very nice and very clean. Owners discription of the property is spot on. Owners communicate well and are easy to reach if there is a problem. Plenty for everyone to keep occupied. great skiing at montage mountain about 30 mins away. Many amenities in the neighborhood itself. Deer walk right up to the door.
