The Bitterroot Sunset Cabin is located on 10 acres on the foothill benches of the Sapphire Mountains. You are in the middle of premier Montana landscapes, historic sites, wilderness and wildlife refuges. Fishing or floating the Bitterroot River is close at hand.
Stevensville, Montana's oldest community, and its shops, restaurants, medical facilities, post office and ranger station are just minutes away. Kalispell, Missoula, Hamilton and Darby are shopping and antique-hunting meccas in area communities. For hikers, many trails await your exploration in the scenic Sapphire or the Bitterroot Mountains.
The cabin itself is an open, inviting single level, two bedroom fully furnished home that has been recently renovated with a western artistic flair and comfortable elegance. Enjoy your culinary experiments in the fine dining area open to the living room where comfortable couches, reading lamps and a writing desk await. Gaze out the large windows and ponder the beautiful mountains, landscapes and ever-changing famous Montana sky.
TV's and/or DVD's will help you drift off to sleep in each of the warm, cozy, exquisitely furnished bedrooms if the Jacuzzi-type tub hasn't already done the trick. Picnic table and patio furniture available for your outdoor activities. Property has several corrals for horses if the need arises.

We totally enjoyed our stay with you and the pictures on the site -- as good as they are -- does not do your home justice. Your home is beautifully decorated and equipped and we enjoyed two very restful days -- and could easily have stayed on for several more weeks (at least). The Bitterroots are a stunning part of the world and the view from the cabin takes it all in. You were a real delight to deal with and the thoughtful welcome touches were really appreciated. We have already passed your contact along to friends who are visiting later in the year and have you firmly in our sights for a return visit. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

This cabin is very clean, very user friendly. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Beautiful property, very private. Wonderful owners to work with.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was super clean, with some treats awaiting us on the dining room table. Brand new kitchen with ALL the accessories you'd think of. Huge master bath with great jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. The whole place is very tastefully decorated with a western theme. Very COMFORTABLE! The photos do not begin to do this place justice. The views of the mountains in all directions are great. Super quiet and private. A few minutes into town for groceries, etc. We saw over 20 mule deer on a short drive into the countryside. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet "base of operations" while exploring Montana's beautiful Bitterroot Valley.
