Welcome to our wonderfully tranquil apartment located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des Prés on the rue Jacob. This luxury apartment is at the back of a beautiful cobble-stoned leafy courtyard. With two bedrooms and two sofas, the apartment can very comfortably accommodate six people.
Upon entering the apartment one is immediately struck by the original wooden floorboards, open fire places, high ceilings and the tall French windows – some of the glass panes date back to the 19th century - overlooking the courtyard and letting light flood into the room. The living room is furnished and decorated in contrasts of charcoal grey, cream and white. The two huge sofas can be used as single beds. The living room leads into the dining room which contains a beautiful antique style table and chairs comfortably seating six people.
From the dining room the apartment divides into the two bedrooms and the kitchen. The master bedroom has a king-size bed which can be separated into two single beds. This bedroom looks on to the courtyard below and has an ensuite marble bathroom with a tub and shower attachment, toilet and washbasin. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed which can also be separated into two singles.
The kitchen is next to the dining room. It is fully equipped with a washer/dryer, oven, microwave, burners and everything you will need to eat in or entertain. There is a small shower room in the area off the dining room, and there is a separate toilet with washbasin in the entrance of the apartment which is practical if you are entertaining.
The apartment has been carefully renovated and redecorated to bring out and emphasize the original features such as the ceilings, wooden floor and open fire places. Its location makes it an ideal base to visit and explore Paris. You are on foot from many restaurants, bars, art galleries and boutiques, and very close to the major sites, museums and monuments in central Paris.
