You will love this Lake of the Ozarks cottage. We purchased this lake house property in January of 2006 after searching for a year for the perfect lake house rental. We now have three full years of seasonal rentals under our belt. This cottage is perfect for vacationers because that's exactly what we had in mind during our search for a cottage rental. Every room in the lake house has been painted as of fall 2006. The exterior was painted fall of 2008. The deck freshly stained fall of 2010.
The single-level deck overlooking Lick Branch Cove on Lake of the Ozarks is approximately 600 square feet. The view is awesome since the cottage is located just inside a smaller cove for calm water swimming, skiing, and recreation with a great lake view of the very large Lick Branch Cove. There is ample parking for as many as four cars right next to the lake house.
If you are familiar with the Lake of the Ozarks area, you know how hilly it is. This lake house rental allows for very easy access from your car. The front door is just a couple feet away and there is parking area available for 4 cars! In addition to that, getting to the lake or dock from the cottage is also no problem. There are only a few steps down to the lake where there is a floating single well covered dock. (WE CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO FIND A LAKE HOUSE WITH A FAIRLY LEVEL LOT HERE IN THE OZARKS!) The dock has a swim platform with a ladder and will fit a 30 foot boat.
The Ozark lake house rental easily has enough room for two average-size families with 1500 square feet of living space. The lake house rental boasts a large kitchen that is well equipped with utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, etc along with all the appliances you will need for your vacation including a trash compactor and dishwasher. All appliances in the cottage are within four years of age. There is also a full-size stackable washer and dryer in this lake house vacation rental.
The lake house rental has three TVs with cable service along with a DVD player. The living room has the large 50" TV with a DVD, CD player, Receiver and two tower speakers. There is also a hook up for your IPOD or MP3 player. One lake house bedroom on the second floor has a full-size bed and futon. The second bedroom upstairs has two full size beds. The third lake house bedroom upstairs has a full size bed and has a door out to a balcony over looking the Lake of the Ozarks.
The first floor bedroom of this lake house has a QUEEN size bed along with a 19" TV. The living area is off the kitchen and the kitchen/ dining area is on the first level. It is a very large area with plenty of comfortable seating. I'll say it again, we chose this lake house for its vacationer-friendly attributes.
Lake of the Ozarks is a very popular tourist area with plenty of shopping within a 20 minute drive. There is a very large mall in Osage Beach with 110 factory outlet type stores. Osage Beach also has plenty of restaurants including popular chain restaurants such as Applebee's, Outback Steak House, Panera Bread, Chili's, and Bandana's among others... But, be sure to check out the local restaurants that offer some very good food as well as breath taking views. Michael's Steak Chalet is one of our favorites. Great food and even better view of the main channel of the lake from high on a bluff.
You'll find many restaurant/bars along the lakeshore by boat too. There are also places nearby that have boat rentals and personal watercraft rentals. You'll find many go-cart tracks and other activities for the family including the historic Bagnell Dam area.
We will see to it that you have a wonderful time here at the Lake of the Ozarks. We live only a minute away by water and five minutes by land from this cottage. If there is anything that needs to be addressed, we will do everything in our power to accommodate you to ensure you have a great experience at our lake house rental!

THIS LAKE HOUSE WILL NOT BE RENTED TO GROUPS UNDER THE AGE OF 25. (SUCH AS BACHELOR / BACHELORETTE PARTIES, SENIOR TRIPS ETC.) If we do agree to rent to a group under 25 years of age, we will require a larger damage deposit.
Please note: In the event of cancellation the half-rent payment(described below) to reserve the cottage for a specific time period is not refundable unless we are able to rent the cancelled time period to someone else. The second-half rent payment that is due two weeks prior to the scheduled vacation time period is not refundable. The damage deposit will be returned immediately upon cancellation.

Thank you very much for your place. there where 9 of us we had plenty of room. Cosmo is our 1 year old golden retreiver this was her first vacation. She had the best time. She had to sleep for 2 days after we got home. The easy access to the lake was great. the large deck was the best for morning coffee. the great room had more than enough room for all of us to be together. you are in a cove that is great and not far from anything by water or land. The temp was over 100 degrees and the air conditioner was the best. Thanks again

Nice, clean, and well maintained. Having 4 bedrooms is great and there's lot of room in the common areas. Love that part of the lake. Lick branch is large enough that you don't have to venture out on the main lake if you don't want to. Will definitely stay again. Thanks!!!

11 friends and I had a wonderful time at the property. The owners stopped by one day, and were very prompt and helpful when we called them later in our stay. The cabin was clean, and exactly as advertised. Definitely recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we pulled up to the house. Everything was as good as, or better than, described in the ad. The lot is flat, and it truly is as close to the water as it seems in the pictures. The house is spacious, with a very open floor plan on the main level. There is 4 completely separate bedrooms. Not a futon in the main living area that is "creatively" referred to as a bedroom, but 4 bedrooms with their own door. The house had all the amenities we needed, and then some. My personal favorite part of the stay was the honesty and helpfulness of the owners. They gave me some great advice on taking care of our boat, and on dealing with things on the lake. We had never been to Lake of the Ozarks before, so I had a lot of questions. Their recommendations were spot-on and definitely saved me time and heartache. I would definitely recommend this house and these owners to anyone wanting a good experience while visiting the area.
