This Condo, at the brand new Bay View Grand Condominium Resort on El Palmar Beach in Ixtapa offers surf pounding waves, spectacular views, convenience, affordability and weather that can only be described as "picture perfect."

Located on the seventh floor, the Condo is 1600 square feet, including a large 200 square foot balcony and a two person jacuzzi overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Islands. Compare our views with others. Most 2 BR units do not have Master BRs overlooking the ocean to the north (where beautiful sunsets occur). More than 70% of MBRs look south or overlook the mountains, not the ocean. Guest BR with twin beds look to mountains. WIFI wired for your convenience.
Additional amenities include full use of the beachfront infinity pools and jacuzzis with snack bars, beach palapas and luxury chaise lounge chairs and you never have to leave your "nest in paradise." If you wish to explore the surroundings, however; wonderfully moderately priced restaurants, shopping, night life and loads of sporting activities are all within easy walking distance. The charming small city of Zihuatanejo (of Shawshank Redemption fame) is a mere 4km away and offers it's own marvelous selection of restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. The spectacular Robert Trent Jones 18 hole Palma Real Golf course is just across the street with very reasonable rates.
You are in for a wonderful vacation experience in both Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo at very reasonable and affordable rates.

This is an e.mail received from Sue & Fred: Jim & Char we just wanted to let you know that we had a WONDERFUL time in Ixtapa. Your condo is beautiful and so comfortable. We enjoyed our time at the pool and playing in the waves in front of the condo. The pool staff(Jose, Carlos and Lupita) were very friendly. We practised Spanish with them and they practised English with us. They make killer drinks!! We went fishing and saw turtles, dolphins, whales and caught Mahi-Mahi. We went golfing--and saw ALLIGATORS!!Yikes!! I am sure the staff at Momma Norma"s and Deborah's felt like we were family as we ate there twice a day...they make the best fish tacos. We went to Ixtapa Island and Las Gatas beach because it seemed like the thing to do but found that the best beaches were right in front of the condo. You definitely have a beautiful piece of paradise. Thank you so much for renting to us. We had a great time and were bummed to return home to 50 degree rainy weather. Sue and Fred

On Mar. 18, 2006, Judith Larson noted the following in our condo guest book: "Our 2 weeks have flown by, We will have played 10 rounds of golf--so spoiled by our caddy, Miguel. Our home course will never be the same. Flew on the Picante and did the sunset cruise also. Discovered pizole and many other local foods in Zihua. Miles of beach walking and gallons of margueritas & beer. Never used the store or AC. So enjoyed your place with all the space and beautiful views and portside ambiance. Mucho Gracias."
