This cabin goes by the name of "Papa Bear". This big "bear" is 2700 square feet & all wood interior ("tongue & groove") - bea-u-ti-ful! With room to spare, this cabin easily sleeps 14 people. Papa Bear is centrally located inside the Pigeon Forge area, near Wears Valley, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Sevierville and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Recommend vehicles to have at least front-wheel drive to access cabin during winter weather months.
As you step inside Papa Bear you will find the kitchen - fully equipped with pots, dishes, silverware, glasses, stove/oven, coffeemaker, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. You will also find a park-style charcoal grill located in front of the cabin. The dining room table seats 6-8 people. In addition, a folding card table with 4 chairs is available for extra seating. Off of the kitchen is a secluded half bath with the washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. In the living room you will find a gas fireplace and Cable TV with a DVD player. You will also find a sleeper sofa that will sleep 2 people and a sitting chair for relaxing. On this same level, you find a master bedroom which has a king size bed, Cable TV, DVD player, and a full master bathroom. This bedroom also has a very roomy walk-in closet. View the mountains from one of two good sized decks on this level!
Going down to the lower level you will find 2 rooms. To the left is a gameroom which includes a regulation size pool table with bar table and stools. Also in this room you will find TWO SETS OF TWIN BUNKS, which will provide sleeping for 4. A full bathroom is off of this room. The room to the right of the stairway has a comfortable sofa and a chair along with Cable TV and DVD player. It also has a king size bed, which makes a perfect bedroom suite! The hot tub is located outside on the deck. You can sit and relax in real peace while enjoying the view!
Going up to the top level you will find 2 very large bedrooms on opposite sides of a short hallway; each having king size beds and Cable TV with DVD players. Each bedroom also has a very roomy walk-in closet. A full bathroom separates these 2 rooms.
You will want to spend quite a bit of time just relaxing in Papa Bear enjoying the peacefulness and beauty of the Smokies. Please call or email with any questions you may have - we would love to have you stay with us!

We recently stayed in your cabin and loved it. We had 12 people total and it fit all of us perfectly. The cabin is beautiful with a gorgous view. My only complaint would be the TVs. Such a beautiful cabin to have such out dated TVs. They were small and quality was not good. So that is the only thing I could think of that was keeping this from being perfect BUT it was close. Thanks.

Karen, we want to thank you for letting us stay in your cabin. It was very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 12. There was plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The pictures and listing was right on the mark. We would like to make this a yearly stay. Thanks again. Thank you very much from our families for the wonderful stay we had a Papa Bear. Our group which included 4 adults and 5 kids thought it was the perfect home away from home. So close to everything, but secluded enough to enjoy the quiet. The kids loved the bunks, by the way. The rental procedure was easier than expected, Karen you are a joy to work with. Your cabin was beautiful and clean, and everything it is stated to be. We would definitely do it again.

This cabin was perfect for my LARGE family getway. Every one had thier on floor. My daughter was up stairs. One son and daughter in-law and grandbaby up stairs. One son and daughter in-law with two grand kids down stairs, and us in the middle. The location was perfect for every thing I had planned! Hope to get to stay here again.

We just spent a weekend at Papa Bear, and couldn't have asked for anything more. The cabin was very spacious and had more than enough room for our family of 9! We would definitely visit this cabin again for future mountain get-aways. Thank you Karen!

I stayed at Papa Bear cabin. We had so much fun! my Kids, and Relatives just loved it, I've stayed at other cabins Before and so far this has been one of the cleanest, spacious cabin. Easy to get to.
