Karen, we want to thank you for letting us stay in your cabin. It was very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 12. There was plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The pictures and listing was right on the mark. We would like to make this a yearly stay. Thanks again. P S it was great to be able to bring the dogs and let them enjoy a little R and R too.

We recently stayed in your cabin and loved it. We had 12 people total and it fit all of us perfectly. The cabin is beautiful with a gorgous view. My only complaint would be the TVs. Such a beautiful cabin to have such out dated TVs. They were small and quality was not good. So that is the only thing I could think of that was keeping this from being perfect BUT it was close. Thanks.

Owner response:Beth, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay in Papa Bear cabin. Currently, the cabin has six TVs and DVD players, one in each bedroom, living room and game room. The recent economy has not allowed me to update the TVs as I would like, however, I am hoping to make changes soon. -Karen

Hi Karen, I wanted to take a moment to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papa Bear Cabin. We are already planning another trip. I also wanted to let you know that it was extremely nice of you to accommodate us for an extra 2 nights on such a short notice. We are truly grateful for your generosity. Thank you very much from our families for the wonderful stay we had a Papa Bear. Our group which included 4 adults and 5 kids thought it was the perfect home away from home. So close to everything, but secluded enough to enjoy the quiet. The kids loved the bunks, by the way. The rental procedure was easier than expected, Karen you are a joy to work with. Your cabin was beautiful and clean, and everything it is stated to be. We would definitely do it again.

This cabin was perfect for my LARGE family getway. Every one had thier on floor. My daughter was up stairs. One son and daughter in-law and grandbaby up stairs. One son and daughter in-law with two grand kids down stairs, and us in the middle. The location was perfect for every thing I had planned! Hope to get to stay here again.

We just spent a weekend at Papa Bear, and couldn't have asked for anything more. The cabin was very spacious and had more than enough room for our family of 9! We would definitely visit this cabin again for future mountain get-aways. Thank you Karen!

I stayed at Papa Bear cabin. We had so much fun! my Kids, and Relatives just loved it, I've stayed at other cabins Before and so far this has been one of the cleanest, spacious cabin. Easy to get to. Hey Karen, Just wanted to tell you that we had a wonderful time staying at your cabin. We all had a great time. Everything was what we expected. All of us getting together was a blast! The kids went and watched the ball drop for New Years and even got to see the dusting of the snow one morning. Thank you for allowing us to stay. Karen, We had a great time at Pigeon Forge and loved the cabin! I think this is the cleanest cabin we have stayed in since coming to Pigeon Forge for 20 years. We very much appreciated the Christmas decorations! I made a picture of my girls in front of the tree for our Christmas card this year. I'll send you a copy soon! Dear Karen, I just wanted to thank you for all your help in preparing to stay at Papa Bear Cabin. We had a great time with our extended family. The house was everything promised, and more! We were impressed with the location, the cleanliness and the amenities. If, and when, we return to Pigeon Forge, this cabin will definitely be at the top of our reservation list. The location was perfect. We spent the day at Dollywood and it was only a quick 10 minute drive from the house. We also enjoyed the fact that there were not other cabins too close by. The cabin was easy to get to with ample parking. Thanks again for your help!

We rented the cabin in September, 2009 as a group of church ladies. The cabin is exactly as the pictures! We had a great time and the cabin was awesome. We didn't want to leave! We would gladly stay in the cabin again.

We stayed in this cabin on March 12-15, 2009. We had a great time entertaining my husband's children and their children. In total, we had 16 people there. The teenagers and young kids had a great time in the game room with the pool table. With three floors, there was plenty of room for all of us without being on top of each other. The two covered decks in the back also gave more "breathing room". Everyone had a great time, no one left the cabin the entire week-end, but enjoyed being together and the peace and quiet!! We are already making plans to rent this cabin next year and make this a family event. Make sure you bring lots of towels and trash bags if you have this many people though, because we were using them quickly. Thanks for a great week-end to "bond" with family.

We rented this cabin in June 2007 and absolutely loved it. It is a beautiful cabin with a beautiful mountain view. Everything was in tiptop shape from the appliances to the furniture. We are reserving this cabin again this year and will definitely reserve again in the future.

My family rented Papa Bear in December 2006 for a Christmas get-together. We found it to be everything we expected. Very clean, somewhat secluded and just a great place to be with the family. Will glady rent again.
