This spacious, three-bedroom home is an ideal spot for getaway retreat and family vacations. Located in the fun and relaxing village of Point Venture. Point Venture is a beautiful area on a private, panoramic peninsula in Lake Travis (Texas' clearest lake) with fun activities for the entire family!

If you love boating, fishing, swimming, or just relaxing and watching magnificent Texas sunsets, this is the place for you. You can relax on one of two 740 sq. ft. decks or park setting patio and take in the lovely panoramic lake view. You may prefer to take a short walk to our private lake park that includes 3 boat ramps, beach, playground, basketball court, BBQ grills, picnic tables and nature trails.

This Beautiful home was built on top of an elevated Cul-de-sac on double wooded lots and landscaped to offer privacy and park like atmosphere.

After a day of fun, relax in the private hot tub overlooking the lake and the hill country. Enjoy panoramic lake views and most amazing sun set from the master bedroom and bath, kitchen, dining room, family room and office. You may choose just to relax in the master suite which includes a 4 poster bed with a private bath and private access to your outside deck that offers the North Stars' reflection on the sleeping lake.

In addition to having direct access to the best Lake in Texas to boat, sail, fish, dive, water ski, wakeboard, Jet Ski, etc... you can take advantage of all the great Point Venture amenities. Activities to choose from include swimming in the Jr.Olympic-sized pool, playing a round of golf on the nine-hole course, or playing tennis on one of the six courts.

Point Venture has a full-service marina, a 50+ acre waterfront park with three boat ramps, and is home to Shades, Austin's well-known floating restaurant. In addition, there are three other 18-hole golf courses and year-round restaurants within five miles of Point Venture.

  • My sister and I were looking for that perfect place to unwind after a very hectic school year, and also needed it to be a great place of enjoyment for our mother and aunt, both senior citizens who are ages 77 and 84 years, respectively. This was absolutely everything we were looking for, and was exactly according to the description and pictures provided on the internet. Even with the flooding taking place all around us on Lake Travis and in the Texas Hill Country, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Unlike some of the areas, the location of this property was not affected by flooded roads and/or water coming onto the property at all. The only downside was that the Lake was closed, and we did not get to do any fishing or water sports, but not a problem. The view of the lake from practically every room in the house was priceless, and watching the deer graze in the yard early mornings, evenings, and throughout the day was a precious sight. We did have sunshine on a couple of days, and we were able to do some sightseeing around the Point-Venture / Lago Vista Area, which was fabulous...full of breath-taking panoramic views as the roads are hilly and winding and practically every twist and turn is a Kodak moment. The deer roam freely in this area, so, you see them in yards, like household pets, everywhere you go. Being able to sit on the covered deck during the torrential rains was even an awesome experience. The Hot Tub that is also available for use on the lower patio overlooking the lake is an added bonus, along with the bottle of wine that you left for us to enjoy. Words cannot express how much we appreciated the home being equipped for WiFi (wireless internet) which made it possible for me to work on my graduate school projects and submit them on time. We look forward to a winter retreat here when we can utilize the fireplace, and we also look forward to being able to have access to the lake and the waterfront park as well as to visit the floating restaurant, Shades, upon our return.
