We enjoyed the house for our stay. It had everything we needed and the Owners were very accommodating. The beauty of the area surrounds the house and adds to the enjoyment.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My otter place was exactly as described! The pictures don't even do justice for how beautiful and well maintained this property is. As we turned into the driveway, my boyfriend and I both said "wow".....we were just so excited to get in and see the place. We had another couple with us and we each had children between 2 and 5. The house was set up so welcoming....the kids loved the screeed in patio and yard area to play in. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook both indoors and out. The bedrooms were cozy, plenty of space and comfy beds. The pond was a short walk from the house and it was so nice to just go down and let the kids fish there and just hang out. We also took advantage of the firepit along the back of the property. It was nice to just relax around the campfire. Overall, we give it two thumbs way up.....I would recommend this property over and over and plan to return again soon!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My otter place is a clean roomy well stocked vacation home. I would recommend this property to anyone and would stay there again. It is minutes from sevenoints marina and beach and floe to the convenience store. The Lakeland pines development is quiet and beautiful. It is nice to sit on the back screened in porch without the bugs getting to you.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

House was perfect for the 5 adults and 2 kids (ages 2 and 5) that were there. Plenty of space in the house and the locations is perfect (<5 minute drive to lake,~10 minute drive to Huntingdon). The rental property sits in a remote community and is very quite. Wish there were dressers for clothes (had to use shelves in closet), sprayed for wasps, and the stuffed bear in the living room was scary to the 2 year old at first. Otherwise, couldn't have been happier and would return to this rental in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a great time at My Otter Place. The house was very clean and spacious. The kids loved fishing at the pond and feeding the carp at the marina. they were thrilled to catch lots of bluegill. It was so quiet and peaceful, we look forward to returning. The owners were very helpful and answered all our questions promptly. We took our boat and were pleased at how close we were to the launch, and no launch fee. Thanks for a great time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful vacation home. It was extreamly clean and comfortable. We only had 3 people, but there would be plenty of room for a much larger party. The kitchen is well stocked for anything that you would want to cook. The only thing lacking was a toaster, but we just put bagels in the oven to toast. We put bird seed in the feeders in the back yard, and had many deer stop by to eat, we even got to see one doe and her beautiful spotted fawn. The pond in the community was lovely. Many, many bluegills, and a few crappy were caught. Of course we threw them back in. Seven Points Marina was omly about 3 minutes away. Make sure you stop in and see the welcome/information center. The view from their back deck was incredible. There is a bait shop about a minute away that is kind of like a small grocery store/ bait shop/ suvenier shop, that has just about anything you could need. Ridenour overlook, and the dam are only 20-30 min away. Both have spectacular views, and we were able to see a bald eagle about 20 feet from us at the dam! I would recomend this home. We would stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The pond is less than 75 yards from the end of the driveway and provides great daytime fun for kids of all ages (95 years and younger) and wonderful evening strolls along the lighted paved trails. About the owner: Pennsylvanians by heart... Coast Guard family that has lived in Hawaii, Florida, Virginia and Maryland. Originally from just north of Pittsburgh and presently living in Annapolis, Maryland.
Why the Owner Chose Raystown Lake:
We fell in love with Raystown Country the first time we vacationed here in the late 90's. I frequently traveled from Virginia to the North Western woods of PA to visit my families camp located in Kennerdell, near Oil City. We finally stumbled across Raystown Lake that had all that PA could offer from the top notch striper and trout fishing to herds of deer and abundance of wildlife. The serenity of the Spring, Fall and Winter are indescribable, tranquil and majestic. Summers on the Lake are... well just come out and see for yourself... We'll see you on the lake...

The home itself is in a very exclusive neighborhood that's cuddled away from all of the hustle and bustle of all the other campers and boaters.
