  At first, I want to say Giuseppe and his son Gabrielle thank you for the great vacations in Rome! Me and my 3 friends stayed there for 4 days and these days were the best days we have ever had. The Al Vaticano Holiday House is very close to St. Peters church (about 5 minutes by foot). There are many restaurants, pubs, souvenir shops and supermarkets around this district. As I am from Latvia I was very surprised when I found supermarket with Latvian products, it was about 7 minutes by foot from this house. Bus stations, the terminal and metro are very close too. From this appartament you can visit Colloseum by bus ?64. It is about 10 stations and you are in the heart of Rome - in Colloseum. We were coming from Ciampino airport by taxi, it was about 30 minutes and the price for 4 people was 35 euro. But from this airport you can also go by bus till the station "Termini" and then by train till the station "Ottaviano / St. Pietro". It will cost about 10 euro for 1 person. About the appartaments I can say that this flat is very comfortable, quite and we felt there like at home. There are all facilities starting from shower gel and ending with iron. Neibours are quite, polite and helpfull. Now I will advise this place for all of my friends and people who want to stay in very nice and comfortable appartaments in Rome. I enjoyed this place and this trip!

  This was our third trip to Rome in as many years, and of all three trips, we had the best accommodations by far at Al Vatican. Giuseppe's son Gabrielle was there to greet us upon our arrival in Rome, and was helpful in acclimating us to the apartment and the surrounding neighborhood. The apartment was ideally located to the Vatican, the Stz. San Pietro train station, and a taxi stand only 100 meters from the front door. We even found a list of restaurant recommendations in a drawer in the kitchen, and were happy to find there a real gem of a restaurant for the best meal we've had in Rome, to date, and for under 100 Euro for 4 people. Giuseppe was charming, kind, and proved infinitely helpful to us in navigating Rome. He is one of the most decent and generous men we've had the pleasure to do business with, and we would rent from him again in a heartbeat. The apartment was clean and well-stocked with toiletries, linens and basic food items, and was a good fit for a week or two with a group our size (2 adults, 1 teenager, and 2 babies.) He even purchased a pack and play crib for our 2 year old to use, which was simply above and beyond. You will have an incredible stay in the Eternal City in this property.   My family and I (a couple with 2 kids, 10 and 13) staid 3 night in this lovely apartment. The location was absolutely superb! Just one block from the Vatican, absolutely perfect. The apartment is extremely clean and the owner very nice and accommodating. While researching I had initially opted for a hotel, but when I found this apartment I decided to do something a bit different. It was a great idea, we had a lot of space all to ourselves. And having the kitchen available really proved quite useful especially with the kids. Not that we did lots of cooking but it was great to have everything necessary for a late night tea or a last minute snack. All and all the value, the nice and comfortable apartment, and the perfect location made this a great choice. I highly recommend it.

  Couldn't ask for anything better to visit Rome. Close to pretty much everything, including public transportation. Place is clean, well furnished, and the owner is very helpful. I definitely recommend it.

  My sister and I stayed in this apartment for four days. We were very pleased with the location, security, amenities, and most of all the wonderful service provided by Giuseppe. He greeted us on arrival with a tour of the apartment and helpful suggestions and assurances that he was a phone call away if needed. We appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the apartment, exactly as described in the listing. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place to stay in Rome close to the Vatican.Restaurants, shopping, transportation are all close by. If you like to walk the major attractions are within walking distance. We would stay at Al Vaticano Holiday House again when in Rome.

  We had an amazing time in Rome! The property was really nice, it is very close to St Peters Square and the bus (64) which stops next to the apartment makes getting around Central Rome real easy. Take note that the Roma S Pietro stop is not on the metro, but via trenitalia and you can get from Roma termini to Roma S Pietro stop in under 1 Euro. The apartment was comfortable, very secure & safe and had everything we needed. The owner Giuseppe was extremely helpful and gave us all the information we needed and went out of his way to accommodate our requests ... A really nice holiday and would definitely return and stay with Giuseppe again when we come back to Rome Thanks Giuseppe!

  We spent a very pleasant 4 days at the Al Vaticano Holiday House over the Easter Holiday. The apartment is in a superb location just a short walk to St Peters Square, and the local amenities; restaurants and supermarket are all very close by. The apartment was clean and tidy and perfect for our short stay. In future we'd probably buy a Rome Pass to avoid the queue's, and would recommend a visit to the Borghese Gardens just to take a break from the bustle of this busy city. We threw our coins in the fountain and hope to be back one day.

  I went to Rome for 10 days and stayed in this apartment. The owner was a very nice person and a very helpful man. The apartment was in a great condition, it simply didn't need anything to add on to it. It is PERFECT. what pleased me the most is the air condition, it didn't have any problem with it. The apartment was clean and tidy when I arrived. It is located in a very beautiful area in Rome where I walked to every tourist attraction in Rome, and if I was tired to walk I could simply catch a bus which is very close to the apartment. It's also 100 meters close to St Pietro. I just want to thank the owner for the pleasant time in Rome.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I stayed with my family and my toddler the owner was very welcoming and helpfull. The appartment is located near the varican and the city center very accessible by bus or walking about 25 minutes.no need to have a car. There is a food store nearby and lots of restaurant. We were very happy to sleep and wake up relaxed because the road its very quite.The aircon is excellent especially on summer time.would defenetly go back.
