GARAGE very large private garage.

From the house you can walk to the center of the village to get your fresh bread and croissants in the morning. MEUSNES is a charming village where the shops will meet all your basic needs - "charcuterie" butcher deli, grocery store - "superette," post office, news agent, hairdresser, chemist, dentist, one "café" available for inexpensive meals. You can also step out for a relaxing walk or an easy bike ride in the surrounding country.

ACTIVITIES:
CLOSE BY - we recommend the delightfully restored little town of SELLES SUR CHER, it has a full range of restaurants from take away to the gourmet one and... each Thursday there is the most EXCITING MARKET of the area which offers wonderful fresh food products. Selles is famous for its AOC GOAT CHEESE available from the local fromagerie and you will find delicious INEXPENSIVE WINES in the cellars of our local producers.

In Selles sur Cher you can also go shopping, biking, and walking along the banks of the river Cher which winds through the little town. And in summer you can go swimming and pedal boating. Selles sur Cher is located on a regional rail link with regular services to TOURS (airport) and BOURGES (amazing XIIIth century gothic cathedral)

ONE STEP FURTHER - the equally delightful medieval town of SAINT AIGNAN with its cobbled streets and attractive shops where you can go antique hunting, provides the right holiday atmosphere with lots of restaurants including "crêperies."

Animal lovers and children will enjoy the stunning and UNIQUE ZOO where unusual and endangered animal species live quietly and happily in large landscaped parks. From St Aignan you may also enjoy to sail on the river Cher to Montrichard.
