Edinburgh is easily reached either by car or by rail from Leuchars station and at only 4 miles distance it offers ample free car parking. From the front door of Barn End cottage there are numerous countryside walks including a mix of hilltop and woodland walks. St Andrews with its facilities, dunes and sandy beaches, is a short distance by car. The V & A museum is a mere 15 minute drive away with ample car parking in that area of Dundee.
Wireless broadband is available and the small office alcove with desk and chair make Barn End a relaxing alternative for the business traveller.

Cozy, serene, delightful hosts!

The country Inn was absolutely relaxing, and Barn End had everything we needed. Gary and Jude were delightful and very accommodating

Scotland Wonder

What a beautiful cottage ( Barn End). It was absolutely spotless from top to bottom. It was out in the country 15 minutes from St. Andrews and about an hour from Edinburgh. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the kitchen well stocked. The welcome package was wonderful complete with flowers for the ladies. Two bedrooms upstairs and a very comfortable living room as well. The owner was next door and explained about the church bell down the street. A little village that complimented the cottage so very well. Thanks for allowing us to stay. I would recommend this spot to all who wish to explore the St. Andrews area. I will definitely keep this on my personal list of VRBO places to visit again.

Beautiful cottage, great stay

The cottage was immaculately presented with everything we needed and more. I'd highly recommend a stay here and it's a fantastic base for exploring Fife and beyond.
