Situated on a wooded lot and a half on a quiet country road our lake house sits on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. It is a short walk to a private beach with clubhouse, bathroom facilities, Adirondack chairs, firepit, and miles of gorgeous beach for swimming, beach walking, and boating.
Our spacious home was designed to maximize views of spectacular sunsets over Lake Michigan while entertaining and connecting with family and friends. Our open floor plan includes a screened-in porch, large deck, patio furniture, outdoor table for eight with umbrella, and an upstairs open family room with adjoining balcony. Four high quality inflatable mattresses with electric pump provide sleeping flexibility. The kitchen island opens into the living and dining area and faces the lake.
Our property is six miles south of downtown Manistee, twenty minutes north of Nordhouse Dunes, and thirty minutes north of Ludington. Manistee is an old Victorian port city on the shores of the Manistee River. Also close by are canoeing, tubing, and wine tours.
