Enjoy the breathtaking gulf front view from the balcony of this 2nd floor luxury, brand-new condominium. The spacious living room and master bedroom are oceanfront and provide a spectacular view of the emerald water and sugar white sand.
The Calypso Resort is conveniently located on the west end of the beach, which is less congested and family friendly. We have an ideal location across the street from Pier Park. Pier Park recently opened in March 2008 and is an upscale outdoor shopping area including the Grand 16 movie theaters, numerous restaurants,retail stores and free outdoor summer concerts on Thurday evenings.
Take a short walk to the newly opened Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Back Porch Seafood, and Red Brick Pizza restaurants. You can pickup your sunscreen at the Super Target or enjoy a cup of coffee at the Starbucks. If you have a rainy day at the beach, head on over to a matinee at the new 16 stadium seating movie theater and shop for a new bathing suit at Dillards or JC Pennys. Bring the kids to Gulf World (less than a mile East of Calypso) to enjoy a Dolphin encounter and various shows through out the day.
The Calypso Resort has two gorgeous free-form 175 foot pools which are directly on the beach. Just walk down a few stairs through the tropical landscaping and you are on the beach. Don't forget to stop at the Tiki Bar on the way down for a delicious frozen drink that you can enjoy on the beach chairs that we have reserved especially for you as an added surprise bonus!
If you need a break from the beach, go up the winding staircase through the lobby to the workout room located directly upstairs on the 2nd floor. Exit through those doors turn right and your right back to our condo where you can check your email with the free wireless internet that we provide in the room!
Our Platinum unit is professionally decorated with beautiful wood furniture and wonderful art and accessories. Luxury accommodations for up to eight are provided by a king in the master bedroom, queen in the guest bedroom, a bunk bed in the third bedroom, and queen sleeper in the living room. We even provide a portable crib for your little one in the unit. Let me know if you are traveling with friends and need another unit of the same size. I have the information for owner of the condo 2 doors down.
There are many extras including: 9 foot ceiling throughout with crown moulding, granite counter tops in the bathrooms and kitchen, stainless steel appliances,wet bar and separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is even a walk-in closet in the master bedroom.
A $300 deposit by credit card, Pay-pal, or check is required to reserve the condo for your travel dates.The check for the balance of the rent is due 30 days before check-in or the balance can be charged the week of check-in. We only rent weekly during summer months with Saturday check-in and checkout. Check-in time is 3:00pm CST and check-out is 10:00am. There is a 3 night minimum stay during other periods.
Our unit is NON-SMOKING and we can't allow pets. WE DON'T RENT TO SINGLES UNDER 25. NO SPRING BREAKERS!!!!!Any reservations made under false pretense will be subject to loss of deposit and rental fees and you will be forced to leave by onsite security. |
